Oh wow! This story was an amazing journey! I loved how real you made Jane and Lisbon. You captured the essence of the show without being slavishly devoted to the details. I adored the way they fell in love. This was so beautiful.

You are very talented. It’s unfortunate that you deleted your third story. I really liked it. But this is also in the favorites.

I know it's been two years since you posted this but I'm new to this fandom by way of quarantine binge watching. I've been reading a bunch of fics lately and had decided against AUs, but had clicked on this anyway, expecting something different. I am so so glad I read this all the way through though, it was beautiful. All of it - from their first meeting right through to the ending felt somehow in character despite the new setting, and I loved it. If you ever do write anything else for this fandom I would love to read it.

Wow. How did I miss this one. I loved this flipped version of the Jisbon story. I wasn't expecting Chapter 8, but you handled that tough topic with grace and top notch writing. I hope you've written or are writing more stories.

What a wonderful story you have written, and much more acceptable as a developing relationship for Jane and Lisbon. I read your story after watching the mentalist, and it has made me feel so much better after the ‘rushed’ relationship/marriage that ensued from the end of the series. Its as though the writers met over coffee and drinks and cobbled a flimsy finish, which felt wrong somehow. But this story made so much sense. Very sympathetic to the characters motivations, and so well written. I cant wait to read more of your stories in the future, thank you for sharing.

Thank you for an utterly beautiful story and reading experience. I have a feeling that if I think enough I could write an actual essay about this but I'll try to keep it short.

Firstly I love your prose: you have the ability to make everything so vivid and poignant, as if the emotions were magnified. It's amazing.

I love the plot so much- an au that still stays so true to the characters and their personalities, but also manages to go through the story so well.

Another thing I'm in awe of is your use of details: little things like the part about relapsing in an op, the details of McCord's crime scene, the scene where Jane felt sick after looking at pictures, etc: these are such small details, really, but they all make the story so much more realistic.

And the fact that you made Jane come full circle: the words used are almost the same, but he's grown so much and gained so much that the reader can't help but feel similarly calmed, at peace, and content.

There are a lot more things that I could talk about (this is the kind of story I wouldn't mind spending months analyzing) but for now I'll leave off by just saying that this story is utterly amazing, and I do adore it so.

Your talent is astounding- please do write more. I'll be looking forward!
