Man, this had some alright ideas, but this is just ... too much. Too out of character. Hercule isn't the kind of monster you're portraying him as, and Videl could pretty certainly beat the dickens out of him if he tried to lay hands on her regardless of whether she believes she can or not. AU, I get it, but that really just doesn't justify it imo.

I'll try and power through the next two chapters, but I'm probably going to drop this. On a more grammatical note, I notice you put periods and commas outside of quotation marks, you should be putting them inside them. Ex:

"It's none of your concern," the nurse snapped, looking at her watch. "Isn't it time for your shift in the kitchens?"

ok. With this chapter I now know this is not actually a Dragonball Z fanfic. Good luck on your writing but this is not what I am looking for.

I love this! At first I was unsure how I felt about it, but I'm so glad I kept reading. And now with the beginnings of a new family and the borders being opened... I really want the Z Fighters to find him again. Can't wait for the next chapter!
