Blueowl chapter 1 . 6/14 This was beautifully written and the raw genuineness of it is palpable. Thanks for writing. |
Aslan's Princess chapter 1 . 6/3 This is equally wonderful and horrible. I love the idea of a Christian Steve Rogers/Captain America. And it's so horrible that Bucky didn't believe, at least not that Steve knew. I can only imagine how horrible that was for Steve. But . . . Steve could still have a chance to share his faith with Bucky since he returns as the Winter Soldier. Yes, it will be even more difficult considering what Bucky went through, but there is still a chance. Very much intrigued to see your other Avenger/Marvel stories. |
GoodShipSherlollipop chapter 1 . 6/3 Thank you for telling me about this story. I really liked your take on Steve being a Christian. I agree that it is entirely plausible given the era in which he grew up. Very different from how things are now where so many people don’t even grow up with any kind of faith background because their parents have turned away from it. It breaks my heart where the world is so full of hatred instead of love. It's a scary thought that those suffering PTSD back then were not treated for it, but eventually locked away. At least there are some positives to living in a time where PTSD is recognized and treated. I would love to see more stories with a Christian flavour in this fandom as I've tried to show in mine. You never know where your story might lead a person to open a Bible and seek the truth for themselves. Congratulations for putting yourself out there and being unafraid to share your faith through your writing. If you do more like this, I would certainly add it to my community. |
Guest chapter 1 . 2/24 Like it :) |
Ahhsbellsnwnsspam chapter 1 . 12/31/2019 I loved this! It was written very well and I love how you portrayed everyone. |
Teyerin chapter 1 . 6/15/2019 I wasn't certain how this element would turn out. You did a magnificent job with the plausibility and the interactions and making the relationship between Tony and Steve that much stronger. |
CandyGirl999 chapter 1 . 12/24/2018 Actually it was said in the first Captain America movie that Steve’s dad died from mustard gas in the trenches in WWI before Steve was even born. |
jomakretschmer16 chapter 1 . 12/7/2018 please write a story of Nat finding out about his anxiety attacks! |
Hoganfan chapter 1 . 10/29/2018 Thank you for writing this. I became a Christian in my mid-teens and a similar thing happened to me, but the static came from my family and the church I went to, with even somebody I thought to be a friend turning the local police on me. I eventually let myself be forced into relative silence and I have regretted it on numerous occasions. Personally I would love to se this story developed further. Thank you again. God Bless You. |
ViolettaVie chapter 1 . 7/29/2018 I like it when stories show that Steve is Christian, either by having him go to church, praying or saying something about God. It doesn't have to be the focus of a story but it is nice to see it acknowledged. So this story of your was appreciated. |
Guest chapter 1 . 7/13/2018 Loved this story Would definitely love to see more like this, either Tony/Nat/Steve talking about differences and how Steve's belief in God plays out in a practical way His comment about "only one God" is overlooked, and I think it is a shame as it is vital to his character. A comment like that has to come from somewhere, but it is never explored. Thank you for the fic! Blessings, Aslan's Daughter |
QuestRunner chapter 1 . 7/3/2018 Hey there! This was a really great story! I loved how you added Christianity in the mix but kept it grounded (the perfect balance of faith and friendship!) Poor Steve feeling guilty about Buck! Such a neat idea for a story! You’ve got some great talent, looking forward to your next one! |
Mellpen00 chapter 1 . 6/20/2018 I'm really glad that you wrote this! I've been wanting to find more people who write about Christianity, and who write about it well. I've come across a couple of other stories, but they've mostly been very poorly written, and rather heavy-handed. I think you got it just right, and your writing itself is great. Thank you so much for this! And I hope you keep writing things like it! :) -Mellpen00 |

AndurilofTolkien chapter 1 . 6/16/2018 nice job |
