I’m not sure I can fully believe Barry saying “ "We've offered our support, Iris...Wally's made it clear he doesn't want it." One it sounds like Barry is emotionally abandoning Wally Just because Wally chose to experiment with drugs and alcohol, and if that is true, then it comes off as OCC for Barry because he knows what it’s like to lose a parent to murder and he has always loved Wally like a son.

Barry definitely acted poorly here. I'm glad that he realized the mistake and I'm interested to see how he acts going forward. Great chapter.

I love your writing style and the depth you’re giving this story!

I’ll be honest that it does seem kinda OOC for Wally, as canonically he’s famous for being a fairly irrepressible ray of sunshine, but at the same time it’s a really interesting take on his character, and although I can’t speak from experience, it also seems like a really good portrait of personal trauma.

I hope you find the time and desire to continue this story soon!

Awwww. Poor Wally. He needs help. I Really love this story and hope you update soon! I Disagree with those two commenters and think that this story is progressing at a good speed. It's your choice to dictate when the story changes and how it develops. People just need to be patient.

Power Wally. He's spiraling and is finally mixing drugs and alcohol. I partially agree with the last commenter, the story is stagnating a bit. He is a superhero and I know that doesn't mean he can't be hit hard by the news, but it is getting little progress with Wally's emotional healing. I really want to know what Barry does when Wally tells him about his trouble using his powers. I still like where the story is going, but I think he's still stuck in stage 2-3 of grief and it's been months since his parents died. I would like for him to snap into stage 4 or 5 before the trial or at least before family court, but it's your decision.
