Oh, I love this. I have a soft spot for Gray's personal story in 64 (I have chronic pain as well and his grief over his injury hits me right in the feelings) and it's so nice to see fic written about those '64 versions of the characters. Their thought processes about this unexpected attraction also fit so well with the rural world they live in. Lovely;;

Wow! This is really moving... I admit that the Mineral Town gang (in all their incarnations) are the cast I know the least about, but Gray felt extremely memorable and well done here... his reserved and aloof nature came off not angry, truly, but just the frustration of someone who is not only confused but confused about someone he cares deeply about. I was hanging on his every response... I'm not sure if you have personal experience with what the boys are dealing with (and it's certainly not something I would expect you to share if you didn't want to) but as someone who has dealt with a similar struggle, it was very raw and realistic. Very well done.

I only noticed one typo, at the beginning the sentence pertaining to the glove reads "I looked like..." and I assume you meant It, not I. Otherwise it flowed very well with a nice balance between dialogue and inner monologue and welll... ending with a bit of action ;)

Oooh! Sure didn't expect to see this in my email inbox! I read this twice while I was at work, and I thought this was good! It's kinda interesting to see Gray portrayed as being gay when he's always shown either with Claire or Mary. Great that you're going against the grain! I'm always up for that! Not much else to say there. Anyway, another good story as always! I really need to play HM64 someday, though the super fast time kinda turns me off to it.
