chisscientist chapter 3 . 6/23 LOL |
chisscientist chapter 2 . 6/23 A potential alliance between Earendil's line and the House of Feanor? This should be good to watch. |
chisscientist chapter 1 . 6/23 Touching and very funny. Maglor plus a hobbit with a silmaril, and a happy ending to the situation. He's to good hobbit sense! |
anonymouse chapter 9 . 4/5 YAAAS! I LOVE THIS FIC! It's the proper amount of plotline, emotion, and comic relief to make everyone happy! |
Bensur chapter 9 . 8/17/2019 Sounds like it's time to petition for Finwe's return! I loved every word. |
Ann chapter 9 . 7/22/2019 Hot potato with the crown of the High King of the Noldor! Fun times XD |
Ann chapter 7 . 7/22/2019 I really liked Amrod and Amras's discussion with Elrond at the end of this chapter! |
Ann chapter 6 . 7/22/2019 Reunions! I love it, awkward and desperate, with hurt lingering but hope as well. |
Ann chapter 4 . 7/22/2019 Jailbreak! |
Ann chapter 3 . 7/22/2019 Hobbits are refreshingly practical, as I'm sure Elrond and Maglor both think. Belladonna is a treasure! |
Ann chapter 2 . 7/22/2019 So much for tripping and dropping the Silmaril, sorry Belladonna - pessimistic elfish thinking is the way to view the silmarils changing hangs. I really liked how Feanor could help Earendil through the silmaril, since its said he poured his very spirit into their making. Feanor hasn't been completely confined to the Halls of Mandos for, well, ever probably. When one is alone, they have the lack of distractions to perceive that subtle presence. And now Earendil is going to team up with the Feanorians! Nice. There won't be much waiting for judgement (ie the Everlasting Darkness) for much longer though. lol |
F.A.99 chapter 9 . 6/15/2019 Lovely story :) |
earthdragon chapter 9 . 3/22/2019 I can't imagine how I missed this brilliant story. I love your portrayals of Fëanor and his sons. The meeting between Belladonna Took and Maglor was lovely; and how typical of a hobbit to prize mushrooms above a Silmaril. The mass escape from Mandos was hysterical - I would love to have seen the expressions on the faces of Namo and his Maiar when all those Noldor rioted and headed for the gates. The battles with Ungoliant were wonderfully described and very exciting - first on Vingilot and then in the forest, when she was attacked by the full force of Fëanorion wrath. I did wonder why Maglor didn't used the considerable power of his voice to defeat her, but of course he must have fallen in battle early on. At least the indomitable Fëanor was able to talk the Valar into releasing his sons (and goodness knows how many Noldor as well). Very neat ending to the story with the reborn kings bickering over who should wear the crown - with Elrond being the "winner". Of course, Elrond could always decide that it is time that they had a queen instead - I'm sure Galadriel would be up for the job. |
Eirian Erisdar chapter 9 . 3/1/2019 I was scoping for good Silm fic and found you! Imagine my surprise when I realised I'd read some of your stuff in other fandoms before and that you'd read some of mine (a long while ago, lol) I'm so glad to see a fellow Christian out here writing fanfic! And excellent stuff too! (Feanor holding Maedhros after the battle broke my heart) |
Deathherselfie chapter 9 . 1/6/2019 I rarely favourite stories, but this was just beautiful! I really feel you kept to Tolkien’s intentions for the characters even as you constructed a happy ending, which made it just that more believable and enjoyable. Also, Elrond’s relationship to Belladonna was just so sweet! Many thanks for such a lovely story. |
