Love the story. I'm not typically huge into starwars but this has quickly become one of my all time favorite fanfics. It's very well written and I can't wait for more chapters. I really hope you continue this as I cant tell you how many times I've found a good fanfic only for it to be abandoned shortly after. Even if I understand the reasoning behind people dropping a story its still disappointing. Love the story and I hope you keep it up

The sorta of logic is that the star wars universe didn't really develop that way. Most codes can be cracked by astromechs (humans that splice are almost nonexistent) the prerequisite being that they had access to a terminal where if you touch it you were already deep in enemy lines. So strong defenses weren't needed because most place just prevented you from touching them. This along with the factmost terminals only control a few small things where they would then notify the main terminal this is shown to have a low failure rate because even when you hide the changes the notification is still sent (you can read the sent notification two ways one a system glitch or someone caused it). There is usually one terminal that controls everything but is almost always surrounded by people. So in conclusion splicing isn't hard because splicing usually has minimal impact, only good splices can fly under the radar, it is hard to the thing being spliced, and if you have access to the main terminal most of the place was cleared so there was no point.

It is hard to point out reference material because most of this happens in the background to get the best idea of how it works watch some clone wars episodes where infiltration is the focus and watch the people working the terminals

Random thing, I love the fact that cam is using songs and books from our world to gain funds and boost reputation, I just find the idea of him becoming a literary and musical sensation to be too entertaining, just thinking of him producing dragonforce, queen, sabaton, beasts in black and power wolf songs in his teens and becoming the galactic equivalent of a rock star is hilarious. Also i dont fully get the appeal of makashi, sure it's a style designed specifically for dueling but some of the best duelists and fighters in star wars completely ignore it, hell dooku was one of the styles greatest practitioners yet in his final fight with Anakin he was overpowered quite easily, it's just my opinion that in terms of fighting styles it's one of the more boring ones that doesn't have much unpredictability or strength behind it compared to others like juyo, ataru, form 5s variants, jar'kai, hell even shii cho since it doesn't have set mayas beyond rings of attack and basic strikes. Also sorry for the loss of ya dog m8, believe me it sucks but give yourself a few months to grieve and you'll feel better. Looking forward to the next one m8.

Any chance Pad can get nudged into the way of a shot or two from the incoming enemies or have the blasters slightly turned in his direction? I'd like to see the guy killed in the most humiliating way possible. Would be good for morale too. Let the guy who is always taking credit that belongs to others die would make people realize their own work is what matters, not taking credit for the work of others in an attempt to elevate their standing.

So Cameron can use Inanimate Conversion to eventually get organic matter rearrangement, then use that to get jacked up in order to flex his enemies into submission? Or become a Jedi Alex Mercer from Prototype?

Good chapter. Can’t wait for the next battle. Will be a great place for Cameron to level-up battle meditation. If Cameron wants to earn the trust of the Mandalorians, he should find the darksaber and the Helmet of Madalore. Hopefully, Revan can help on the latter. Also,Bo Katan and Pre-Vizla should be teenagers or Cameron’s age. Maybe Bo-Katan as a love interest, due to his skill as a warrior and little qualms about killing. Love the new dark side ability. Really hope Cameron will get a chance to use ad train it with his other dark side abilities, such as Force Drain, lightning, etc. Finally, I hope Cameron becomes the youngest Jedi Knight in history. I just simply like the idea and it would show up any of the Jedi Masters who don’t like Cameron. Curious on what you will do to that one Jedi who actively hates Cameron and has a little bit of darkness in him.

Dooku literally just said a variation of the harem joke, "As the universe infinitely expands, so to, does the harem."
