Alright, I think you deserve some more reviews but I also think your story is dragging on. And on. And on. This mission thing should have come sooner IMO. All I can see is Naruto training, and training, and training and while there is an interesting relation developing between him and Itachi, it's not focused on nearly enough. All in all, 8 chapters and 70 000 words (which is rather impressive) and I have zero idea where you want to take your Naruto.

As for world-building around jutsu theory, be mindful that it does not clog your story too much. Or rather, here is the associated warning: "Write what you want ultimately, but don't be surprised if it does not make a good story."

Wow what an interesting story so far. I'm having a difficult time deciding whether Naruto's behavior and thoughts put him somewhere on the autism spectrum or if it's strictly due to his abuse. Arguments could be made for either, but regardless I'm thoroughly enjoying what you've written so far.

Glad to see the fic is still running. Nice chapter like the rest but the pacing might, I repeat might, be going a little slow. Doesn't bother me too much but I know how some readers get desperate for a timeskip, but in any case, keep going! You have a great fic going on so far and I hope you don't lose motivation for it.

PS: While I don't actually hate Jiraiya, I do dislike how he handled his duties as a Godfather and I hope you don't have Naruto get attached to him. I dislike how easy authors have Naruto forgive or befriend Jiraiya when the sage is nothing more than a stranger to him when they meet in canon.

Really enjoyed reading this. Surprised it hasn't gotten more reviews. Don't forget that you had Naruto trying scorch release. A well explained ability to combine elements is underrated. I don't think a taijutsu or kenjutsu style has been chosen despite him refining his technique. I think such a training nut without the ability to improve his body's strength would choose and refine or combine a style/s.

Love this story so far, wonderfully written and very engaging.

Hopefully Itachi doesn't rat out Naruto and actually stops his patriotic side towards his village. Out of everything that is Itachi Uchiha, I hate how blindly loyal he is towards a village that keeps taking and taking from innocents such as Naruto and himself. Kill your family for the village, Itachi does it. Let Naruto suffer at the hands of the village so they can direct their hatred and suffering, Hiruzen and Jiraiya allow it. It would be great if Naruto and Itachi joined forces to clean up Konoha of its corruption and actually take part in the Uchiha rebellion together.
