Nice plot progression, although the kids strike me as a little too... obviously named, if I haven't mentioned it before. Granted the same could be said of The Incredibles, but it takes away from the originality here. Otherwise the concept is pretty intriguing.

Oooh, this is back! :D And it seems like Finnick is under a spell. Great job there, Nick, at spotting something was wrong. This will be interesting to see what will happen next here. :D I really enjoy this story!

Oh my! These kits have quite the devious minds and I wonder how they will be stopped. I'm guessing her mind control will work on them all excepting if the barrier is used. So it will be interesting to see how it develops. :) Good chapter!

Well, the report from the mortuary sure is interesting. So whatever this guy’s story is, he obviously doesn’t have a healing factor like Wolverine. Some kind of phoenix power? That would be interesting, and the more so for being unusual. The doctor seems to be taking it in stride a little too quickly, though; kind of like how in Dracula, Van Helsing was too quick on the draw with anything and everything about vampires despite seemingly having no previous experience with them.

Nice twist at the end. Looking forward to the next chapter.

The mystery gets deeper and Judy and Nick are in a panic over those two alerts. I hope all the kits are okay, though I'm thinking it has something to do with the plans that were started last chapter. This will certainly be interesting. :D

Okay, I think I'll get the less constructive feedback out of the way and do that first. I have to be honest; I'm way overdone on WildeHopps lately, and the disclaimer that it was "low-key" was part of why i decided to read this story. So i feel a little cheated, since even allowing for the mind-reading your WildeHopps is, to quote another superhero, "subtle as a flying mallet." The rest of the story is novel enough to keep me reading for now, but I do have a sense of "been here, done this."

Now for something a little more constructive. The emerging superpowers angle isn't bad, but it could have been better. The direct borrowing of powers from The Incredibles makes sense, but it doesn't quite fit the characters. The Incredibles' powers all tied into their personalities and roles in some way, like Mrs. Incredible/Elastigirl being pulled a hundred different ways as a wife, mother, superheroine, etc. Judy's personality seems more befitting speed or super-strength, and sly, creative Nick would make more sense with invisibility or powers like Green Lantern's. Bit late now, but something to think about.

Oh I am SOOOO going to enjoy this fic!

Not bad. It feels like a pretty believable scenario - for superhero material, anyway - and achieves a decent air of tension without having everything go haywire right off the bat. Gotta wonder what Chief Bogo knows, since it seems like that must be more than he said or thought.

Nice beginning. The random introduction of a magical artifact is a bit forced, but not the worst plot twist I've seen. Ought to be fun.
