UnnamedElement chapter 1 . 7/11/2018
So funny! And well written. I loved the feel of this piece—felling it from the barkeeps perspective really let’s us see these friends properly. It’s endearing. Incidentally, my legolas also has problems with coin, poor fellow. Such a fun concept to play with and you did it so well! I am a sucker for culture clash/cultural exchange stories...! Thanks for writing and posting.

Hawaiichick chapter 1 . 5/15/2018
Can your Legolas can’t get more endearing? I think not! I got such a kick picturing Legolas lay all these random items on the bar. Of course a woodland elf would carry dried flowers, seeds, and an egg. :D I wonder who the fifth person was... ;)

I love that assortment of little treasures that Legolas had stashed in his various pockets and pouches, especially the idea of him paying for a round of ale with flowers, seeds and arrowheads. Great story.

My friend! This story is a treasure! I love how you characterized Legolas' confusion, and to be true, I'm really rather curious to the assortment of items that came from his pockets. :D Especially the bracelet and the shell that you mentionedAn excellent and wonderful story, mellon nín! Good job! (laughs heartily)

I love this! It's sooo cute! I love Legolas' confusion, it's so in character! Especially for your Legolas. The level of consistency in your work is truly remarkable! And the way you manage to balance confusion and inexperience with skill and wisdom is amazing! I love how he'd know that the barkeep might think he'd spill the drinks and acted accordingly (with his experience with traveling with the fellowship and all), but was baffled by the money system, something basically unknown to elves (or at least the young ones). That just makes so much sense! This is amazing! I can't wait for the next chapter/ story!
