iEliteRoyale chapter 1 . 6/23
Oh my, I love the build-up, and how quickly things escalated. I never thought Ed would feel that way, considering all that he has been through
RedB04 chapter 2 . 10/9/2018
Wow! I needed that thank you!
GunsAndMagic chapter 2 . 8/13/2018
This is really great! I love the ending with Fuery, he doesn't get enough focus in fics. I think his and Ed and Al's relationship could be really interesting! Thank you!
Sealure chapter 2 . 8/3/2018
I totally agree! Kain is amazing, and he really deserves more credit than he gets. Loved the story! Very sweet and heart wrenching. Well done!
KD14 chapter 2 . 7/14/2018
I love this! Totally agree Kain is one of the more under appreciated characters!

Shiloh Moon chapter 1 . 5/7/2018
This was actually very interesting. I never thought about how Ed's behavior affects the opinions of others (not that other people's opinions matter anyway). But I never pegged Ed as the kind of person to pay attention to that stuff. I mean, sure, he pays attention enough to hide his automail in public, but I think that's more of a cosmetic/self-conscious issue.

And I think you're right. Ed doesn't actually interact much with people his own age. At least, not in the Brotherhood anime (the only canon source I've seen).

Maybe I will make my own verson of this. But I'm afraid it could be a while until I get around to it. I'm fresh out of college and on the job hunt. Plus I've got three chapter fanfictions spanning across three different fandoms going all at once right now. I'll definitely send you a PM if or when I get around to it, though.

Overall, I think you did a great job. Especially keeping everyone in-character. The only thing I thought could improve was the final rant. The wall of text in all caps was a bit intimidating to read. Not to mention any normal human with normal vocal cords would've gotten hoarse before finishing the rant- meaning the tail end of it should've faded back into normal caps.

Other than that, great job! I enjoyed reading this.

Please write another chapter!
maggiehhillman chapter 1 . 5/5/2018
Nice job! Honestly though I can really relate with this, being a teenager sucks! I just turned 15 and I’m like how did this happen last week I was scolded for wanting to jump in a bounce house! Now I’m almost old enough to drive and do other things. But like if I act mature and try to be serious people don’t take me seriously, if I argue with my little sister or do stupid kid stuff then I’m immature and am acting ridiculous. Any way great story keep up the good work!
DarkFlameFantasy chapter 1 . 5/5/2018
This is actually pretty good, I never thought of this idea or seen it in another fma story anywhere. Really cool and when you think about it, it's understandable. I would have liked to see how this would play out if Ed didn't abruptly leave. I know you said that you would like to see how anyone would write this same concept or continue it to help you improve but I think it would be great if you continued this into something with more character interaction I guess, would really like to see where you go with this.
Great work, good luck!
EcoReibun chapter 1 . 5/5/2018

The Mishmosh Bird chapter 1 . 5/5/2018
This honestly makes so much sense. We saw multiple times in the series how Ed can be at times both startlingly mature and childish. Its always been an aspect of his character that fascinated me. Ed and Al have both seen some terrible things in their time and while they retain their stubborn idealism, they also understand the truth of alchemy, fate, and consequence better than most adults and it leads to a really complicated psyche. While people would't dare tell Alphonse to act his age (it would be cruel, for one), its only too easy to let that kind of thing slip around Ed. It's terribly insidious and of course, well meaning people have no idea how being told to "act his age" would be like for Ed, given the life he's led. Ed's tough but he's got limits like everyone else. Overall a wonderful piece. Thank you for sharing!
