I do love Lance’s sharp tongue even in the face of Sendak and a sharp knife hahha oh Lance

This was a delight to read. I only wish that we could see the aftermath of this...for some reason I really like the idea of Lance being scolded, but underneath there's deep care and concern. Boy, is he getting it after this! Nice one, Icy!

ICYYYYY! Why? Why? Whyyyyy? My poor baby. My poor, poor baby. I pout for hours after biting my tounge so that must be awful. My poor cupcake. This was a good story. I love your little one shots. They’re fantastic. 10/10.

But awwwwww that ending though! That actually brought me a lot of personal satisfaction. I see a lot of myself in Lance in this specific story. Not for the tongue or torture stuff, of course, but for the narrative that i'll go through any type of suffering even for just a smile from a friend. That narrative struck home with me. A nice little story to read, I love it! See, this wasn't that long, huh? I'm proud of you, Icy:)

Little rabbit aliens that chirp? So cute! I feel so bad for them though. Peaceful rabbits who get invaded by Sendak. Almost a good thing Lance decided for a swim or he’d still be taking over.

That was a new level of mean! You cut his tongue! That’s so cruel! I hate the fact that I kinda loved it. Shiro and Allura coming to rescue him was great and Shiro’s rage was awesome. I almost feel bad for Sendak. I wouldn’t want angry Shiro after me

Ayyy, Icy Panther! Back at it again with Lance agnst! Like seriously, you admit you don't like eye injuries so you make tounge injuries a thing. I forgot you could do that. While we're on the subject of unfamiliar tortures have you heard of denailing? It's supposed to be very painful often involves crying. You put a nail under between the skins and use a hammer of something to wack it off, different ways to draw it out. Why am I telling you this!? Good story, might need more exposition, but great structure.

I was almost disappointed when Sendak only cut part of the tongue. Of course I want Lance to be fine, of course I do. But my morbid curiosity doesn't want him to. Great little oneshot! I especially liked the end when Shiro was MAD. Like, how DARE they do that to Lance?

I gotta say that I laughed when Lance recommended Tea and sandwiches. I don't think I'll ever get tired of him smart-talking antagonists like that.

The relationship between Lance and the Red Lion is a new one, and it was cool to highlight on the differences between the two. It was also neat to see Sendak in all his cruel glory. There's just enough closure to bring the story to its end. That tongue wound is probably the only point of concern. Oh well, guess we assume the best! Thanks for another great read! (Quick review, this one.)

I love me some Langst! You are definitely the Langston queen and I love all your stories! There was definitely a few sentences that didn’t quite made sense, like a word was missing or something, but it was super easy to fill in the missing word. And it definitely didn’t take from how much I loved this story. Again I would have loved this to be stretched out a little further, just a little more abuse, but I know it was a one shot and I thought it was very well paced for its length. You’re fantastic and I am so happy that I got to read 2 stories so close together. Thank you for always writing the best stuff!

I have to say, one of my favourite things about thi particular piece is the Lance and Red interactions. Of course he aches for Blue, and it's a big change, but I'm glad to see him come to terms and loving Red just as much, and vice versa.
