holy mother on a sugar pie, this is amazing. Like, REALLY well done, I commend you for everything in this. It's easy to understand, beautifully worded and well played out. I love it.

I'm glad that this has a sequel already because I really like the potential that I see in this. Heck I love this kind of story, I normally only see it in Star wars fics and more recently there's something similar in Despicable me. A father and son fighting on opposite sides, the father trying to protect his son.

I hope his dad's 'mysterious' instruction "don't let them see your face" and the Amulet responding to his subconscious demands will combine to mean Jim gets his helmet (and its built-in mask) in Season One. Seriously, why did it take the Amulet so long to give him a helmet? All the other Trollhunters had helmets and trolls skulls are presumably tougher than human skulls.

I feel SO BAD for poor Walter and his terror for his son's safety and his inability to confide in his wife on the matter or directly warn/help their son, lest the other Changelings find out Walter's working against them and the danger increases.
