So we have the first murder with Ayano being the one to bite the dust. Sad to see her go, she was cool and definitely one of my favourites of the bunch. Guess its time to theorise her death now with the upcoming investigation and who the blackened will turn out to be. I did see two theories that I liked that were quite interesting whether it was Ayano or Eki but I wonder. For now though, it's probably best to wait until the next chapter to really start thinking that stuff through eh. Until then!

That’s... Very fair, actually- Especially because Cherry and Kichi don’t even have their luck flipping wildly between the two, like Nagito does. It especially sucks for Cherry, the poor girl.

Fate, as a concept, is... Tricky. Definitely ironic, in the end, but difficult to come to terms with, especially when your “fate” gives you a really bad hand. The hero worshipping though, is... Hm, well, a large part of it is wish fulfillment, I’d think? Most people know they might not be all that, but seeing it happen, fake or no, can be nice.

But then, you probably aren’t asking for my philosophical rambling or whatever, haha.

You know, I don’t know if I’ve said it, but I really like how Monojoker’s threats aren’t... Empty? Like, he had to use the motive twice to get people to start murdering, and don’t get me wrong! It sucks for the characters, that they’re losing people they love, but I feel like I don’t actually see motives like this put to use all that much? If you know what I mean. Anyways, it’s cool!

Not wanting sweets all the time is fair- I have a massive sweet tooth, but even I draw the limit somewhere.

Huh... Speak of the Devil, indeed- Wonder what she’s doing. I mean, as androids, I don’t think they’d need to eat? So either she’s cooking just to cook, or she’s cooking for the students, which is... Nice, I guess? But weird, and also they probably won’t trust what she’s made, at least at first.

I do agree with Kichi- Being caretakers while also waiting for one of them to snap is... Weird? Counterproductive to one of those tasks? But also, I really wouldn’t say that to them, if only to avoid antagonizing them.

I’m loving the dynamic between Tsukae and Hibiki, not gonna lie. Something about it makes me smile... They just kinda bounce off of each other really well, you know?

That’s... Fair, you do have to wonder about how he got the measurements. But then, it is Monojoker, and I wouldn’t put it past him (And the Mastermind, I guess?) to either take measurements when they were asleep or unconscious, or to access their records to find out.

Gotta say that I’m with Cherry on this one- The swimsuit sounds pretty, don’t get me wrong! But it also sounds a bit... Not up my alley. Better than nothing, though.

My goodness! I was not expecting the first murder to be as grim in its appearance as this has been! Ayano has not gone through a more peaceful death, whatever she had to go through before she passed away the blackened definitely didn't pull the punches in making sure that it was effective and had no chance of failing in terms of killing Ayano.

There are a few people who stand out as potential blackened but I won't make any comments yet as to who seems the most suspicious but I am sure that the investigation will bring to light a lot of clues and information that we can use to inform our analysis.

Poor Ayano. I (and basically everyone else) knew that she would die but I still hoped otherwise. She was growing on me with her relationship with Cherry. Even if she also obviously tried to kill Cherry with the blue powder that she put on the cotton candy. Obviously some kind of poison or toxin.

And the state of her body is making me think that she ended up eating the tainted cotton candy instead by mistake. Which could be an honest mistake, or someone could have swapped out the candies. Someone probably swapped the food. And by someone, I mean Kichi.

But we shall see!

Hello, and I am here again with another review! I have missed some chapters here and there, but I'll try to review this chapter for the sake of me reviewing chapters! I might be shorter in reviewing simply because my energy runs out really quickly, but we'll see. I'll mainly try to focus on Gabe and Chris since they're our highlights, being the FTEs, duh.

Gabe is such a sweet person! It's sad to see that he seems to think of himself as so little, I wonder what happened to him in the past? Anyways, other than that, I'm glad Kichi and Cherry are talking to him. He definitely would need someone with him. We must give everyone friends! I hope he can get along well with the others, though I am sad he's been pushed merely to collecting trash and whatnot. I know that's his talent and his likes/hobbies do strengthen that role of his, but he should work with the others so he'll have friends, aha.

Chris is a sweet knight! I do like him and how confident he tries to portray himself. It makes me sad everytime to see him hurt himself. Geez, he and Cherry needs someway to not get injured every ten seconds or so. And poor Chris for getting his fingers crushed! Geez, I want nothing more than happiness for our knight here. Someone make him happy please, and not hurt actually. Someone needs to take care of him, the sweet boy.

Er, other than those two, we do have a lot of other things to talk about! The first thing that does come to mind is Galiana and Hotaru's interaction- seems like Galiana is responsible in a sense despite her eccentric nature. That's great! I'm still worried over Ayano. I know it might just be her way of comforting herself, her acting normal in a sense and being around others, but I can't help but worry she will bite the bullet. Someone make her happy, please. I do like how Cherry is making friends! She definitely deserves it, the sweetheart. Asahi and Shion continue to be the parental figures of the group, and Daiko somehow continues to wreck my favorites list everytime, that boy.

Also, pajamas! Pajamas are comfortable, aish. Also everyone has like death flags over them, what the hell how dare you Sona.

Man, Chris and Cherry have matching luck, don’t they? I guess that’s where his “Tragic” title comes in. Thugs just don’t go well for him, often at the cost of his own health. I wouldn’t be surprised if he dies in the process of trying to save someone else. Not this chapter, though. I don’t think Chris will die yet.

I’m actually not sure who I think will die first. You have killers be able to kill up to three people instead of the usual two, which makes sense given your cast size, but I doubt you’re going to do anything too crazy number wise for the first case. So probably just the one victim. Is it Ayano? That seems a little obvious given what happened to her family. I want to assume that we’re losing one of the twins, but I think they’ll be the killer for more pain and possible character development. And by they, I mean Kichi. Cherry’s too precious to lose too soon!

Looks like they’re gonna hang out with Genki! This should be interesting- Not much of a planner myself, but I’d imagine doing so after what just happened would be a bit difficult.

Pitcher in the Nye (Catcher in the Rye?) and... My Mini Horsie: Friendliness is Magic. Which I think is My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, because it’s too clear NOT to be. Not what I expected, but that’s amazing? Though it makes me wonder if he also watches the in-universe equivalent of stuff like Gravity Falls, Steven Universe, Over the Garden Wall... Hm.

Alright, I don’t know if it means anything? Like a sign of possessiveness, or it’s just what he does, but the card called her “My Cherry” and it’s kinda cute, I think. Not a bad thing! Just something I noticed~

I don’t know if I’d say desensitized? It could be a way of coping- Like, something terrible just happened, and they’re either trying to boost morale or give themselves a sense of control over the situation. That isn’t to say that some of them aren’t desensitized, of course, I don’t know what they’ve seen in life, but it is a thought.

The bit about Itsuki is fair, though- Not odd that he’s a bit used to it. And hey, desensitization is hardly a bad think in and of itself!

Well, childlike is hardly a bad thing! Kinda cute, really- And honestly, I don’t think it matters that much, as long as it makes people a bit happier. Hell, not even that- It just has to relax them and calm them down a bit.

Banri and Aki! The former is as hyper as usual- Maybe even more energetic. Those coffee beans couldn’t have helped. The former just seems to be getting stuff done- Not bad progress on her end, really. And I can sympathize with wanting the party to happen after that.

He keeps mentioning the military and I wanna know whether or not that has something to do with his talent! Tell me your secrets, Banri!

Cups and balloons... The balloons will definitely take a while. And Cherry... Poor Cherry is also having issues, it seems. Even Mother Nature can’t give her a break, indeed.

Not gonna lie, whether or not she’ll even want anyone around is a bit of a tossup, but from what we’ve learned of her, I at least don’t think she’d react too hostilely to an offer of company? Even if she doesn’t accept, the idea that someone’s there for her might help a bit.

Kinda expected it, but she’s... Really not doing well. Talk about a mess- An understandable one, but still.

Ayano free time! Here’s to hoping some comfort will make her feel better... Heh. Yeah, a bit of a weird topic for what’s been happening, but you gotta give the two props for trying! I, personally, don’t really like almonds, but I love cup noodles- A bit too much, really. And! Another person Cherry can draw with! And it’s bonus socialization for Ayano~ Also, Oligopoly... Is definitely Monopoly. Pfft.

Glad to see that they helped cheer her up a bit!

She seems okay with it! I’d say it’s less of a “She’s okay now” thing, and more of a “She’s trying to feel better” thing. She’s undoubtably still a bit shaken at the very least, she’s just trying to heal a bit, if that makes sense. Also, Ayano, I... Wouldn’t call it moping around. Poor thing.

Cleaning up is a good thing! Much easier to live in~ And going to Genki to get something to do is also a good idea- It’ll give her something else to think about.
