Hey there! A new update, always making me happy! As expected, here comes the unexpected. Sephiroth attacked fast and a number of things are set on the table. As I see this story going, I definitely agree that should be a story exposing the hell that abuse impose. To see how Light is going to beat this monster, how to become stronger through her love for Kain, and her comrades. We need to see more of them, as for the story , regarding the Dragon and the blood myth I want to this progressing as well, through Sephiroth 's sick perception of Light. Because I remember his obsession has to do something with the lore.

I wouldn't want all these things to disappear someday in exchange of Sephiroth 's argues. Of course there will be hunt, terrible things happening and pain. But it should also be central that Light matures, becomes stronger, learning to love her man, forgive him and trust her allies. Because it's like reality : a woman cannot overcome abuse all by herself in the end ; she needs the help of her loved ones. But first comes her own resolve.

And note this. Light must try to fight Sephiroth and she must lose. Lose again and again until she opens her eyes to her strength and to the people she must learn to trust. Its natural to suffer through this and show the true face of darkness that Sephiroth holds. But don't leave her alone in this and she should be the hunted but not the prey.

In summary, make this a story, a very dark story of survival. Show how strong Light can be when she opens her heart. Step by step, losing and losing but getting up again. And make use of your fantastic ideas of lore which you have presented us in the previous chapters.

I'm saying all these now because I believe this chapter is critical. Light realises now the danger, the fear and how much feeble she is when she pushed Kain away. Its an excellent chapter to begin her hard journey full of danger and pain. But... Its not like I impose ideas or something, but I had this need to tell you how I feel about this story and what it shows to me. And I have the feeling, from this chapter that is going to be amazing!

Oh! Sorry for being late reading! To be honest you surprised me once again! I cannot really know when Sephiroth is going to appear now, can I? But that's what makes this chapter special. I totally wasn't expecting it! And about the dark paths you are taking the story, as of now it's totally fine. I don't know the future chapters but I can can agree you remain faithful to the characters. Especially Kain about Light.
He can be this affectionate, protective and feral to his enemies for her sake as you describe him. As it was said in an other review, we need Light to fight, but I cannot expect a happy ending... This danger that Light faces is far more dark than it seems right now. So it makes sense to see things that we don't expect. Keep it on, and if the case comes and the future chapters appear to be too much violent or dark, there always be comments to help you through it.

This new chapter, sure I took my time to read it. It was amazing! First of all, I have to comment you for that your writing has matured. Sure you can still be better, but the change was really really wonderful, and well done to you. I liked the pacing, I liked the expression and I liked the balance. You strive to show us the position that Light is in, and its something, unfortunately, that many women are facing, so its totally fine by me to not hide the truth of their horror.

Plus, that's Sephiroth we are talking about. Look, I didnt see this as "to give Sephy an opportunity to have his way with Light as well" but sooner or later this had to happen. His character is malicious, dark and unstoppable when he wants something, and trying to pamper it, would be wrong. Yeah, totally worked for me. And its super fine to expose this tragedy without unessesary sexual tension, but with as much as needed. To expose this situation and stay loyal to the characters.
As for Light and Kain, I'm fine with your reasoning that she needed him, of course, but I know that Light is reasonable as well, so I think in the end she will stop being stubborn and accept Kain's help when she gets over with Rosa's thing with Kain. She will definately grow out of it.

As for closing, the chapter was cool. Once again being on topic about Sephiroth and about his abuse. Light is strong, but not super-super-super strong at all times, especially against someone like Sephiroth. You were realistic, describing those moments of weakness of hers, but next, we really need to see the Lighting soaring in the sky!

Damn you for leaving us on a cliffhanger! Btw this is definitely one of my favorite Dissidia fanfics of all time. Probably number one.

Oh my gosh this is really happening. Am i dreaming? Sephiroth confess his feeling to Lightning! DAMN! OKAY I know im crazy. But I LOVE THIS DARK Side. I don't like how Sephiroth force on her, in real life its scary But this the only way for him to get her. He is frustrated with her. And never stop ending battle with her is madness for both of them. Wow! An update! Its actually here! Oh I am sooooo thankful you continue the story, I'm so excited, thank you! What's this!? Light and Kain are together again? Please don't tell me she will use him or whatever... I'm really happy, even if this was a bit rushed, but I guess Sephiroth is enough reason to do so, isn't it? I don't really buy the fact she is just 'angry'. What I truly see is that she is afraid. She can't be alone with Sephiroth! You should totally point out her fear. She can't be just a pissed off teen like a boy whom she doesn't like, kissed her. What Light goes through is serious. Kain, beat Sephiroth up! Its going to be epic!

WOW, that was surprising! Light surely needs Kain that much, that she is in fear. Truly, I felt that, the way she ran to Kain, the thing with Sephiroth is serious.
Thanks for clearing out about Light in the previous chapter. Totally respecting your point of view about her and I agree with you. So, I am even more curious about the next chapters, and I hope we see the next update. Be safe until then and keep going!

Welcome baaaaack! Oh, my, how long has it been! You see I read the previous chapters before diving in chapter 6!
Oh, man... I don't know what to think about the chapter. That escalated quickly, I have to say. Didn't expect Light to jump on Kain this early but despite that I can't say it's completely occ. What do I mean... I mean first that Light and Kain have a very special relationship, and we know that. They maybe fight, separate or whatever but they feel that it's all over for them the moment they lose each other. They live for each other so... I didn't surprised me that she wants him. And he her. Its like Snow said : kains love for Rosa is like a past obsession, not something substantial. He loves Light and she is the first only woman he wants. And Light... I don't think she uses Kain, but she is pretty pissed with him, even now.
In other words I loved the chapter and thanks for updating! I want to know what happens next! Kisses! Until next time.

Yeah, double chapter! Heart attack! Oh dear, I enjoyed both! From the girls' over enthusiasm to the bloody fight afterwards. My.. What on earth they did to Light?! Why the boys didn't find them sooner! Not that was their fault, seriously the girls having Sephiroth alone what they could do! Anyways, thankfully Light was safe... And, no, I didn't overlook the kiss. No, no, no... Awesome surprise! Kain, beware :)

Well first things first, after a long time, welcome! It was really really nice to see and read the next updates (really glad it was two chapters this time, no unnoticed ;) Second, thanks for taking your time and explaining about Sephiroth in ch 3. Your position is absolutely respected and understood, still I would like some more... At least poetry in his words, as in ch 5 you had him restrained for the most part which was good. The kiss was quite unexpected, and it was all more shocking to see after Sephiroth was standing back all this time. You show him as a sly bastard, for sure, well done:)! About ch 4 I won't lie I found the girls a bit... Pressing and... Expressive with all that shouting and gestures.. Normally Light would have snapped at this behavior, at least have them go quiet, even though it was sweet of them to defend her, still foolish to jump unnecessarily into fatal danger when stronger warriors are ready for the battle, just to show they can do it. They did survived though, but Light was tortured enough for them.
Anyways, with Kain being more in sure the story is getting pretty exciting. I like the way you add things to the original story, like the blood thing for senryu, because we need much more storyline than the game. Your enthusiasm can lead to beautiful things, I'm sure! Keep going and try for the best!

What?! Not one but two chapters, or I missed an update? But first, the greetings, then congrats! I really enjoyed both chapters and made my day reading. Can't deny I found the girls' insist a bit cheesy in chapter 4. I thought Light was going to explode after some point, but they really did it, didn't they? A good fight for chapter 5, though I grew goosebumps with Lights torture until they helped her! Aaaaand double shock for me there.. Kain and Light looked ready to find it again... But no... Seph finally did it and kissed the girl... And me, not imagining what kind of things he has in mind for later, now that you cleared out that the Dragon needs spilled blood to activate... No, I cant imagine ... I will wait for it though, expecting the best from you, having in mind that grown up soldiers like Squall and Cloud became marriage arrangers... (ha, ha!)
