I loved the girls trying and trying and trying to be Light's right hand on the mission, but I can't help wondering... Wasn't Light deeeeep and in secret thinking '' will they shut up for a bit? '' OH, my... I admire the courage but Cloud is right. Against Sephiroth is not a game. Still, I cheered when Rinoa and Tifa gave Light the high five after the Kain talk. Seriously this guy! Can't let go of Rosa already? Come on!

The thing is, everyone has a thing with Light when she is tortured.. Is it a bit... too much? You know, I want Sephiroth to be the sadistic one.. Well... The most sadistic one... Still loved the fight, and, man, Light's tough! Sephiroth's kiss came like... Wow! Shock, not that it wasn't expected but it came so abruptly! And... Last but not least YES WE NEED SOME HELP WITH KAIN AND LIGHT! IT'S IMPERATIVE! Please update as fast as you can!

Hello there, writer! Terrific chapter there! I want to point out Kain and Light's relationship in this one... I don't want it ruined, but if Kain looked at Rosa again, he's an idiot! Still, a caring one and let's not forget the fact he must protect Cecil in this war (more background of this purpose of his would be nice). But, yes, Light can be a bit demanding here, because she is heartbroken... Anyways, I want some fire in this relationship. Write a grand adventure for them... With the happiest of endings, they deserve it.

Secondly, I love her comrades, seriously. Happening to see the world of final fantasy cutscenes with Cloud and Light, their relationship is just like that, you were close describing it. About Squall was very touching. In NT Light was motherly to him. More scenes between them would be nice...

Lastly... Sephiroth. Well. We all know he's a madman. His words were creepy... At least. You have the vibe in his intensity with Light, I just wanted him to speak about it more reserved and poetic? Sephiroth may feel a lot, but shows less. Of course Light is gonna suffer if he catches here, and you should be ruthless on the description. But his words.. I would tone them down a bit - just my opinion. It was all right though. That's exactly how Sephiroth feels, still he would be... less expressive about it in words, just that.
On the bright side of events, let's meet again for the next chapter! Be better every time, you can!

What a story! And what a chapter! Welcome a new fan here, I couldn't stop reading it, thankfully the chapter was long enough ;) My favorite scene was Squall standing up for Light. I knew those two could get along! If you remember the side quest in duodecim, the one where Squall and Light were patrolling together on the train (unfortunately there was no video, but dialogue) he was one who called her Light and not Lightning, suggesting they were close even back then. She could be like a mentor - figure to him, it's sweet!
I cannot leave behind me Kain seeing Rosa. Man... I like her, not denying it, but I can't picture Kain with her after seeing him with Lightning... I hope they do something in this story and decide to end up in the same world. We need it, people! You can build your story further than NT's! The heroes trying to find ways to escape, defeat the beast, but also binding their worlds together! So they can be together, travelling from one world to the other freely! It could be interesting, by learning the why, along the way, their worlds are not connected in the first place ... But you write the story, you decide, of course. I'm just full of enthusiasm, I guess!

Oh man... Totally not expecting Sephiroth to feel like this for a person. It was so creepy.. Poor Light, you don't know him, why jumping in the danger! Kain, you better get your mind together and be with her!

That was so... Dramatic! The chapter was so long, I really, really enjoyed it! Your writing skills has been improved, as I read other of your stories and I appreciate your effort. But, mostly, I appreciate your enthusiasm! I wanted to tell you since the last update but it slipped my mind :)
Anyways, it's a drama. I want this a long story, really... and Kain end up with Light or else I'm going mad! I loved the way she is appreciated by her comrades and being her lr self as we saw her at the end of the game. She is really a woman, no man should leave. And, honestly, Kain is the damn right man for her, isn't he?

This man is terrifying mad. I felt chils down to my spine, no kidding you. I could finally realise the extent, since Square Enix remade his face in the Ffvii remake. You saw the eyes, and the locks of hair falling on his face like this? I could imagine him right now... And Light dashed into danger again...
P. S I really missed your updates in the Arms Wide Open... :( It's one sweet and exciting story...

Yes! Whoo, thank you! Thank you! Thank you! This is great, i enjoy it very much please update chapter 3 heheh. Well its okay, i didn't mind if they would be enemies. Its more rational, and youre just damn good at making battle scene. Its just like Lightning vs Caius all over again. But Sephiroth is stronger. Angst for me yeah to see Light's bleeding until she almost die. But i love them when clashing sword scene. Its epic, and this turn out beautifully. Its like missing scene from the game, please add Noctis too :)

Hello, writer! Starting from your ending note, I cannot agree with you more! We needed Light's more screen time, and why Sephiroth was the one she paired with. When I saw the cutscene of them fighting, I squeaked! I wasn't expecting this, but I wanted them to have a thing since duodecim... So I expected a decent story to show us some interactions. They didn't do that, but here is this amazing story of yours! Thanks for posting it, and please don't let it, it's brilliant!
I suggest you explain why Sephiroth has that bizarre interest in her. And... To be honest, I expect him to be... sadistic with her, is it not? You are right saying he can't be nice with her, it's his character, man, he is insane!
Secondly, I loved Squall 's brother reaction, and I want to see the background of it as well. Also... A bit tiny relationship with Cloud, pretty please? But I wouldn't forget about Kain. How will he react to this!

By coming to Zidane and Terra's aid, wouldn't Lightning be leaving her other comrade, Squall on his own against Odin? (And possibly the other Spiritus warriors that haven't yet be given spotlight, like CoD? Square's DLC-milking is kinda annoying...)

On your comments about Lightning as a playable character:
Lightning is an assassin (or more like assassin-mage hybrid), you're not supposed to go Leeroy Jenkins 1-on-1 with her, but stalk your chances and attack when the opponent is focusing on someone else. Also, at least in theory, her longer dash gauge allows her to close in on unprotected mages and interrupt/punish mages' attacks since assassins have better poise and generally better attack speed than mages...
