Reviews for The Knight Whose Wounds Bled Freely
Kerlongsj Evert Orlejov chapter 1 . 9/19/2018
This is stupid for many reasons. If Jaune would have been pissed at someone, it should have been Ozpin, not Oscar. Oscar just asked questions about things that he didn't know about. He didn't sign up for this and you make him look like the jerk while he has questions about this whole mess that Ozpin made.

It's just baffling how you interpret this. And Ozpin acts like he is the one teaching Oscar the lesson about asking questions while he made the mess. I don't know but in this, you bash Oscar, who is wondering about his life and the things he was forced to do, Jaune, who is angry and sad and acts that out on Oscar while Ozpin is the one who made the mess, Pyrrha's legacy. The list can go on. Congrats on that one.

Guest chapter 1 . 2/26/2018
That portrayal of Jaune was so OOC and overall terrible. Jaune is angry at Ozpin but taking his anger on other people is something he learned not to do back in Volume 1. His entire outburst made absolutely no sense and his final scene with Pyrrha he looks like a traumatized kid.

I like the premise but the argument between Jaune and Oscar was horribly written.
merendinoemiliano chapter 1 . 2/26/2018
The story starded good, but then it went slightly down. Jaune was angry at Ozpin, not Oscar, and this last one made clear he was also angry to the voice in his head, while Jaune was slightly hypocrite to tell him thath when he was the first to don't even having knowledge about Aura when he went to Beacon with forged transcripts( and sorry, but 'my parents didn't want me to train and become an Huntsman' isn't an excuse at all).
SECUREZONEICON chapter 1 . 2/26/2018
Honestly just go watch the whole maiden and vault scene from v3. The problem want the Pyrrha was destine to die because of Ozpin's choice to make her the maiden. But rather how they lied to Pyrrha. Look at their verbiage. How Glynda acts like Ozpin wasn't the maidens creators, how they didn't let Pyrrha know that age played almost no part in biecoming a maiden (as proven by Raven Branwen being between 30 and 40 BEFORE becoming the maiden!).

That whole scene comes of as blatant minpulation rather then a desperate gamble, or a meaningful sacrifice.

And I didn't even like ARKOS I thought Pyrrha was to emotionally stunted from years of being the "invincible girl" that she couldn't have a healthy or meaningful relationship. That Pyrrha did to Jaune what everyone else did to her. She put him a pedestal.
