Reviews for A Mother's Advice
Guest chapter 1 . 5/25/2019
Expand maybe?.. Please? Thanks.
Shizuka-naru Goketsu chapter 1 . 11/30/2018
I would not be opposed to this going full story.
mirrormarie chapter 1 . 8/13/2018
That ending was brutal and sad! Poor Rhaella.

Still sad to think of everything Rhaegar's done being in service of a prophecy...
Gemma chapter 1 . 7/30/2018
So Rhaella is all leave your wife and kids even though she's also been treated like sh*t by her husband. Trash take
Anime Princess chapter 1 . 7/27/2018
If only Rhaegar had done so in the actual story!
ZodiacsKlaroline chapter 1 . 4/15/2018
Would love for this to continue.
laurenalexander83 chapter 1 . 4/8/2018
This is AWESOME! I do hope you consider expanding it. I wonder how things would have worked out if Rhaegar had followed his mother advice?
Karlandra chapter 1 . 2/27/2018
Jean, Rhaegar doesn't love Elia and his mother knows what it is like to be trapped in a loveless marriage. Rhaegar has already decided that the child he plans to have with Lyanna must be his heir. He loves his children enough to send them away and likely has plans to do right by them later on.
Guest chapter 1 . 2/18/2018
Karlandra:

Rhaella's story is one of the saddest ones that George Martin tells, in my opinion. It's too bad Rhaegar acted so recklessly. Although I think Rhaella would have been better off advising Rhaegar to just stage a bloodless coup in the Red Keep and have his father taken prisoner and himself proclaimed king. It's not like anyone would stand against him: everyone knew Aerys was crazy and sadistic. Hell, look at Ser Arthur, Ser Gerold, and Ser Oswell? They are KINGSguard and yet they obeyed Rhaegar's orders, not King Aerys. The point is made even more clear by the fact that Ser Gerold was the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard.

Darkchaser:

We all know that jean d'arc will excuse anything Lady Catelyn did. I'll agree with her that Catelyn's attitude towards Jon Snow was absolutely correct given the culture at the time, but I agree with YOU on how absolutely idiotic Catelyn acted during the war. Mothers absolutely do NOT always know best. Cat's rash actions and high-handedness led to her family's ruin. That might have eventually happened anyway, but Cat certainly sped up the process!
Guest chapter 1 . 2/17/2018
I can't see Rhaella cool with Rhaegar ditching his kids in Dorne and his wife. She was good friends with Elia's mother and even if she hated Elia she wouldn't want the kids out of succession or living in Dorne.
Wright chapter 1 . 2/17/2018
Poor Rhaegar. Too bad he didn't really seek his mothers advice. She seems very knowledgeable.
Darkchaser chapter 1 . 2/17/2018
I agree with jean with the Rhaella would have given good advice on what he should do, but most certainly not on Robb following Catelyn’s advice since she was the one who agreed for him to marry a Frey and was the one who let their most important prisoner go in the hopes that he would get her daughters back to her like wtf are you thinking if you want your daughters back make the deal with Tywin cause he would have done anything to get his son back to put your hopes that Jaime Lannister would free Sansa was just utterly stupid
jean d'arc chapter 1 . 2/17/2018
Good story! Rhaella is quite observant here. That would have been much better than the way Rhaegar and Lyanna decided to elope. Sad about Elia, though. I found it strange his mother would come up with the idea to annul the marriage. I mean, she feels wronged by her own husband and now she wants her son to wrong his wife who has done nothing wrong...

If this had been true and Rhaegar had followed his mother's advice, if Joffrey had followed Cersei's, if Robb had followed Catelyn's... Yep, mothers do know best, too bad boys don't listen...
Thanks
Guest chapter 1 . 2/17/2018
Wish it would have happened this way!
KingJonSnow chapter 1 . 2/16/2018
