I don't know much about Descendants, but this story flowed so nicely and didn't require to know much about it to know what was going on. I really did like how well you were able to mold it together and make it work out! I think they make a cute lil couple, and glad for that happily ever after at the end. Great job, Jet! -

In future, you should probably write this kind of sentence as:
"Above the fireplace hung a frame of Harry with Theodore Lupin, Ben's father."

Swapping the name and the descriptor is optional, but the 'and' should definitely be replaced with 'with'. As it is originally written, it reads as:
...[Harry and Ben]'s father, Theodore Lupin.
Whereas if you swapped them around and kept the 'and', it could be accidentally read as:
...Harry [Lupin] and Theodore Lupin, Ben's father.
