I read this all in one go because it was just that good. I had also wondered about this scenario myself. Carrie seems like she is able to get along good with Emily, and the rest of the team is also like a nice family. The only thing that I am worried about is that since you mentioned Declan, what would happen if this story goes into season six and how would Carrie cope with Emily's "death"? Great story so far.
