Oooo Can I just say that I LOVE Merlin as Snow White here with his enchanted apple. Ahh. So many childhood memories. I'm eager to see how the action unfolds with hopefully Arthur or someone to the rescue though I'm predicting Merlin might be able to save himself. Or Kilgharrah! This should be very interesting.

Ahhh, this was lovely! My favourite was Merlin telling Arthur, so matter-of-factly "yes, it's a robin". I giggled at that. Trust Kilgarrah to keep an eye out for our young warlock; and for Leon, Arthur and Gaius to worry over Merlin. It is so true that Merlin is not alone, and I am so glad he realizes it! Thanks for this one :-)

Aww, such a sweet ending with Merlin healing the bird and it becoming his little feathered friend. Loved that it was Kilgharrah who gave him a nudge towards the spell when he most needed him. :D

Wonderful! Finally Merlin has learned a healing spell - and a powerful one too. I do wonder if this will ultimately have an effect on the outcome of finale?

Merlin is so clever, healing himself like that. Also loved the way Kilgharrah spoke to him and the connection that he received from it. Nice touch about him healing the bird as well, and then realising how he'd healed himself as well.

The beginning of the chapter was frightening when you consider his state of mind once again, and wanting to escape from his friends.

A really good story this, and a lovely bit of banter between the boys again. No wonder Morgana feels Merlin, has lived a charmed life though. :)

That said, I adored the undercurrent of suspense and intrigue. I found myself asking, "Morgana, Morgause...what have you done, and WHY?" I look forward to learning the answers to those questions.

And you captured Gaius's voice perfectly. I loved this part:

"And stay out of trouble." It sometimes felt as if Gaius could read his mind.

"You know me."

"I'm afraid I do."

Seriously though, what an awesome start! From the start you could sense how Morgana was up to something, and boy, does she have Merlin in peril and fast too. His panic is so raw, so tangible. As is the concern from Arthur and Gaius. Speaking of which, I loved the breakfast scene with Gaius and Merlin, as always you have their voices spot on.

No, Uther musn't know. Hehe. As always the King has no idea what goes on in his castle. Nice touch! Also loved the typical entry of Morgause and that touch of bakcground on why Morgana does what she does.

Anyway, can't wait to read how this unravels. :D

Nicely done with the old "enchanted apple" trick. Never fails that one. Trust Morgana and Morgause to be behind this. Nasty team that.
I just hope the powerful sorcerer - Merlin of course - will be able to cure himself from this curse.

Ooh enchanted by the apples. Poor Merlin, the tormenting scenes were especially well written. Say nothing of his journey through all of the corridors. No wonder Gaius is so worried. I am especially glad to see Morgause make an appearance in this, her and Morgana made a menacing team.

I am really intruigued to see how Merlin can be cured of this enchantment, it seems a very challenging situation. As ever loved the Arthur and Merlin banter, and you always do Merlin and Gaius so well.

I cannot wait for the final part we must get our normal Merlin back, and I can't wait to see how.

Definitely interesting so far, it'll be interesting to see where this goes.
