Thanks for this new chapter! What a sick man. Sadly, this kind of pervert actually exists.
The only thing I find a bit strange is how easily his wife admits having doubts about her husband to Cho and Jane. Generally, the wife who's living under the thumb of such a type of psycho is in total denial or cover him and act as an accomplice. Anyway, it's a very good thing for Lisbon that Mrs Sanders let Jane & Cho search the house without too much resistance… Please update soon!

Uglier and uglier. Sixteen years of kidnapping women and imprisoning them, requiring them to bear his children (that's a horror for sure!). How I wish this were just a fantasy that never could happen ... but news reports show that it does.

It wasn't wise of Lisbon to fight him. She is at his mercy and there's no sign of anything he wouldn't do.

Convenient bubble of fantasy. Good ploy to explain the situation to the kids and control them. After a fashion, not so different than the approach tyrants use to control populations of adults: Unrelenting propaganda about existential threats from outside the country, control over the information available to the population, harsh punishment for anyone who steps out of line. (Think of North Korea.) It's not implausible at all that children who had known nothing else would believe. The adults around them, who did know different, wouldn't dare tell the children the truth lest the kids report their heresy.
