I was so excited to see a new chapter for this! I'm looking forward to hearing more of Asuma's thoughts about what's happening with his team, but I like that Kurenai is willing to just be there for him right now. I really liked Choji's conversation with Shikamaru,and how Choji is easily willing to admit they could have seen something like this coming. I'm also excited because Shikamaru has decided this is a mystery that needs to be solved. I wonder what their approach will be.

Kakashi opening up about his family a little bit, in a way, is unexpected but great. I'm glad he already knows about the mind talking about I wonder if he'll try to teach them (Sakura) subtlety, or if he'll leave that to Ino. I really hope they find the scroll, the dogs might make Kakashi feel like he has more of a handle on things. Thanks for updating!

Let me just say, I like all your versions of Ino. I read all your fics and even though I also adore your Sakuras, your Inos are probably the best versions in this app. You manage to show her canon personalities and make her more likable and stronger too. (And canon Ino is likable and strong enough for me). And I adore her relationship with her father. God, Inoichi is the best parent. You also show us some snippets of her clan. I like it a lot. Hope you will explore it more.

I can't wait for them to start the mission. I wonder what it is. I'm sure whatever it is, it'll be a good lesson for them.

And of course, I am crazy impatient to know their third member. I saw some fanarts depicting Tenten as the third member, is that true? I can't wait to see it. A team with three female members will be so much fun.

Yay! I'm so thrilled you updated this story! I love that you're including how the other teams are reacting to Ino leaving Team 10.

I really wished that Ino had been allowed to be in the meeting that was about her. I understand that Inoichi was probably protecting her from as much of the fallout as possible, but she should be allowed to defend her decisions.

I honestly love how this Kakashi is actually taking his time to make sure the girls are ready for a mission instead of just thinking if something goes wrong, he'll handle it.

I wasn't expecting half the chapter to be focused on them, but it was interesting to see the dynamics of Team 8. I can't recall if I complimented how well you portrayed all four girls in the last chapter, but it's worth repeating. I also love how deep the trust

Short albeit awesome chapter. Team eight moments are always nice to see and heart warming- they’re so tight knit and protective of their own, I’ve always wondered if it had anything to do with Kiba and the Inuzuka clans animalistic influences. Poor Ino being scrutinized by her decisions but the outcome of it will surely prove them wrong.

A unique take on the development I wish Ino and Sakura (particularly Ino) could’ve had. I’ve had this story saved for quite some time now and didn’t touch it because I knew once the ninth chapter was over- it was really over lol. I hope you continue this masterpiece of yours. The way you portray Sakura and Ino is so special and always deeper than most (yes I binge read ur other stories T.T) and I appreciate that. Clan politics are also always a huge YES for me.

OK, I love this fic. I am all for better character development for the girls and making Kakashi a much better teacher than he turned out to be in most of the series. It's been a while since the last update, I hope you haven't abandoned this story. It's really good!
