I do believe you have a bad habit of just shoving together the people who raise Harry(Or whatever Harry equivalent there is). Honestly, the kid doesn't always have to have two actual parents. I mean, that is the reason it's called a father FIGURE. It always seems so forced the way that you push the parental figures together. Iris and Sirius, Lily and Sirius and...oh my god, are you projecting? Do you just love Sirius's handsome scruffiness? Either way, you don't HAVE to always pair them up. My mother never had another relation with another after my father died from a drunk driver swerving into him. Almost 20 years after, she went too. She raised me and my five siblings just fine, a couple of us didn't turn out so well sure, but that's hardly her fault and more their asinine decisions. Point being, it's fine for Sirius or whoever to stay in their lives and not have to be romantically involved with his mother/father. He could always be a father figure without being his father by law, you know? You make it sound like being raised by a single parent is shameful or something, which I hope is not what you think. I am probably just reading too much into it, but whatever. That all I had to say.
