RIIBEAN HAS FINISHED I AM PROUD
Ziggymia123 chapter 59 . 11/9/2019
I am going to choose to believe that the other three survived since you never explicitly said that they were dead! Maybe they’ll pop up again, since I know you said you were making a universe. Maybe. I’m being hopeful haha But man, Sagi really was hiding something darkness and yandere in her, huh? If we do see this cast again, I hope she gets some kind of punishment or karma or something.

So we’re done. Wow. Holy shit, Rio. Congrats!
Prince PokePersona chapter 59 . 11/9/2019
OH MY GOD, WE'VE FINALLY COME TO THE END AND HOLY SHIT, THIS ENDING, WOW!

Let me just say, that this was a hell of a ride and I'm glad I sent an OC years ago to you and your story, I hadn't expected it to come out like this, but oh boy, this was a trip, a chapter of a story has closed and now we're at the end, I don't know what to say, but congrats on making it this far, RiRi, I'm so proud of you, you finished your story and I'm so happy, despite the ending.

I will admit that long ago I doubted your story would not continue, but thank you for proving me wrong in that regard and striving through, despite your schedule and life updates. You're an amazing writer and don't let anyone put you down.

Sagiso, you absolute ho, what a fucking snake, you make Amyto look like Mother Theresa in comparison and that's saying a lot. Not only do you collaborate with Kaijin and his schemes, but you also killed Saori, Kamui and Kaniza, your supposed best friend and now you've drugged Minori into being your little puppet who does whatever you want. You are trash, In every regard.

You know, I know that this is the end, but damn, it feels like there's more. Poor Minori is now her emotional slave and she's here trying to confirm her delusions and not fess up while she subjects him to an abusive and one sided love. I don't think I've ever hated a character more than I did before, but damn is she a really interesting villain, what a two timing snake. Sagi the snake is how I will refer to her now.

Since this is the end, as Kaniza's creator I will leave this on a note that might send her packing and questioning her life choices and decisions. Enjoy UwU.

"Hey Sagi….by the time you read this letter, I'm probably long gone or somewhere where I can't see you...but I just wanted to let you know, that despite the changes I saw in you...I still consider you my best friend even now. I don't doubt the time we shared with each other and even if I did notice the little changes in your behavior, I still thought nothing but good things about you. I hope that you're happy with whomever you are with and you've accomplished all your goals, just know...that despite everything that has happened in the simulation so far...even if you end up betraying me in the end...I will still consider you a friend, even if you don't view me in the same light...Was it worth it in the end? I'll never know, but I wish you all the best in your future, even if I may never have one myself...With love from your best friend, Kana."

And with that, thank you very much Rio for accepting my girl, making her suffer and putting her through hell and I'm happy that you ended this story on a somewhat bittersweet note. I'm proud to have been apart of this story and I can't wait to see the rest of what you have to offer. Ow Later.
mayurie chapter 58 . 9/28/2019
We're at the end and I'm finally here (I'm sorry). This has been a long ride, but I'm so proud of you for finishing this up!

Yeah, honestly I've been dreading to see Sagiso as a mastermind and as I read this chapter more and more I was just waiting for you to reveal that she /is/ indeed the "mastermind", so to speak. I'm surprised to see that she just gave up on the others like that, but maybe for her it'd be worse if she continues to live alongside her friends who she betrayed just like that so it's kinda understandable why she did that. Definitely curious about what happened to them though; simply got killed before they could wake up? Or wake up with the realization that she (and technically Minori) betrayed them, and then died? I honestly don't expect that they'd live after this.

Minori is broken and Sagiso is trying to justify her mistakes; it's definitely not an ending I had expected, cause most Danganronpa stories end up people surviving for another day and the mastermind punished, but also it's really nice to get a realistic ending like this. Not every story has a happy ending, and this definitely proves it... unless?

But yeah, great job for making it this far! Can't wait for the epilogue, if you decide to write it. It's been a long ride, but it's definitely a fun one! Wish you luck for other things you might need it for
Ziggymia123 chapter 58 . 9/28/2019
VINDICATED! I HAVE BEEN VINDICATED!

Sure, Minori was drugged all to hell and didn't really have any free will, but he was still a Mastermind! My theory was still (mostly) right! But oof, that ending. I knew better than the expect a Killing Game to have a "happy" ending but this was just solely tragic. No one got out and we don't even know what happened to Saori, Kaumi, or Kaniza. I do want closure for them. We've been following them this long, it would be weird not to get it. Unless they're going to show up in a future story? You mentioned Watari, who I think is in your other SYOC? So maybe everything's linked? I don't know.

Either way, CONGRATS ON FINISHING!
Prince PokePersona chapter 58 . 9/27/2019
OH MY GOD! I WAS FUCKING RIGHT, I KNEW IT WAS HER, YES!
I can't believe I was right on the money with my mastermind theory, yes that was so satisfying.
Although I didn't expect that other part as well XD.

Let's break it down. So in the end, Sagiso was the mastermind and Minori helped her and Jiyuu orchestrate this entire killing game, oh my god I knew it. I mean I knew Minori would be involved, but I didn't expect him to also be apart of helping set up the game itself jeez, what a plot twist.

So Fumio essentially installed some chip into his brain to prevent himself from being manipulated by the creators of this simulation and oh my goodness, here I thought he was still alive, but wowie this mastermind twist really threw me through a loop.

I had a feeling it was her, since Sagiso was someone who was a major character in the plot and her relationship with Minori boosted her to main character status and to me the fact she didn't die at all or get seriously hurt, just showed that there was something up with her odd screen time, no one gets that amount of screen time unless they were heavily involved in the plot and she always came off a bit strange to me. As much as I adored her romance with Minori, knowing her betrayal at the end, really sealed the deal for me.

Also when you mentioned overpopulation, I researched her talent and it makes a lot of sense that she'd be doing this to help the environment and keep the population in check. It was all for science and she ended not only the others, but she's losing her friends as well. I noticed she was a bit hesitant towards Kaniza, but I just can't see them being friends again, even if she did apologize.

In the end, Minori is having a mini mental breakdown and existential crisis moment and Sagiso is regretting all her life choices made thus far. I also like the little note of Asami having been the one to cut Minori's hand and such, no wonder she was made the first killer XD XD.

What can I say, but wow, that was an amazing reveal and I can't wait to see if you make an epilogue or not. I'm very interested to see the next part, because to me this feels somewhat incomplete, also I want to know what happened with Saori, Kamui and my girl as well.

I'm so shook right now, but in a good way, what a nice way to wrap up this story, it was all for science but in the end no one really came out as a winner, except for scumbag Jiyuu but he's his own mess XD.

Great job for not giving up riri and I can't wait to see what you write for the epilogue if there is one, great job at essentially finishing your first story and I wish you luck with your others ones, later!
Ziggymia123 chapter 57 . 8/15/2019
Yes, other people believe my Minori is the MM theory! Mwahaha! (Even if I don’t necessarily believe it myself anymore? Sagi, you look suspicious.)

It’s interesting reading a trial that’s not focused on a murder, even if dead bodies still popped up. 10 skulls instead of 11? That seems to obviously suggest that one of the previous dead is still alive. As to who... I don’t know. I feel like it would have to be someone who died in one of the later chapters. Bringing back Ko would feel out of place, for example. But beyond that, I’m not sure.
Prince PokePersona chapter 57 . 8/15/2019
Oh interesting so it turns out that not only is there Libertas and Theia, but there's also the mention of copycats and other people who might have underhanded intentions here. I kind of had the feeling that this overpopulation thing was a load of crap to be honest, since it was used as an excuse, but I feel there is obviously more to this case than meets the eye here.

Jiyuu is being far too generous with this discussion and his slimy attitude mixed with his composed nature does not forbode well for the others, considering he has the power and the high ground in this scenario. He's like a puppetmaster watching the others flail around to find a way out, while he's snickering on his throne, watching them waste their time. I feel that he is an obvious red herring, because why would this random man we've never met be the big bad of this story?

Unless he is related to another one of the characters here, then I feel that if he is the one pulling the strings here, then that would be kind of meh, but the prospect of it being one of the supposedly dead students is also hyping me up as well.

It might be fake, but the idea that one of the students is alive is seemingly the right choice at this moment, not sure yet, but I feel that given what we know so far, it's highly likely. Also the drugs that can be used to control people, sounds like a miracle pill for the evil corporations, indoctrination as well as hypnotism, gives me memories of Amyto, but I'm not sure if she is the mastermind, given that she was mentally deranged in her thinking, so I might leave the idea up to the people who died later in the story.

At this point, I think the Minori is the mastermind meme is also a red herring, I mean it would be really easy and kind of a copout if the main character was the mastermind. It would be a fun unreliable narrator moment, but given how his talent is unique and the circumstances, I feel that Saigso accusing him of being the MM because of his scar is a little much.

Which makes me think that she's the most likely candidate for the mastermind title and if not her, then one of the dead students, most likely Fumio if he is still alive that is.

Other than that, I'm intrigued to see how the last moments of this story pan out, we've made it this far, I can't wait to see what happens next. later riri.
TheRoseShadow21 chapter 55 . 7/28/2019
Yes, killing games are totally the way to solve population crises *heavy sarcasm* also, Mr Jiyuu, this is most certainly a cult. Or something approaching a cult, anyway. Anyway, it was also cool to see some of Sagi's past! She was a sweet child!
Great work as always!
Prince PokePersona chapter 54 . 7/21/2019
Hi there riri, ooh a new development in the plot, interesting and we finally get a bit of insight as to why the VR system was set up the way it is.

So basically it's used to counter the threat of overpopulation and lack of resources and since we know that Theia and Libertas are at civil war with each other, in this instance I can tell that Libertas is the bad guy since if we are to believe that Fumio and Rin's info is to be trusted, then we're inside the bad guys HQ and the Ultimates were being used to field test the simulation, since space travel is costly and ineffective.

Oh so a new character is here, Mr. Jiyuu Kaijin. I'll admit I didn't expect someone like him to pop out in this chapter. His presence means that whoever the mastermind behind this game is, it might make this guy a red herring, but I also feel that he's working with the mastermind or the mastermind is working underneath him. I feel that since he got all of his info, the mastermind was allowed to get rid of the test subjects and use them in a killing game. Actually the overarching plot is fun and I find that using the killing game and then having this overarching story makes it even more fun and deeper than it is. I don't trust Jiyuu, since he's been intro'd but I don't what he has planned, but it can't be good.

So now Kamui, after all this time, finally gets his backstory explained. I'll admit it's pretty generic not gonna lie, his family died in a car crash and was taken to live with his aunt and uncle with his brother, which is sad when you think about it. And then he meets an older woman named Yori who basically hands him the title of Mortician because of it. I mean this could be the case, I don't suspect him of being the mastermind given his visceral response to the worker and I feel he's been too prominent to be the one to do it.

I still hold my theory that the mastermind is either Sagiso, Minori (for a copout), Fumio or maybe even Seiga. Minori is obvious given the whole theme of lies and distrust, but I feel that would be too easy unless you planned to have him feign innocence, which by the way, great twist.

Sagiso has yet to have her past divulged to us, maybe in the next part, but out of everyone here, I don't trust her as much. She's been the one to bug me lately and I feel that's not good given the whole overpopulation theme going on.

If it was a dead peep, then it's more likely Fumio given the missing body count from earlier, it could be a red herring too, but his part is vital in this role if anything as he seemed to have a lot of work in the last chapter and his death kind of rubbed me the wrong way not gonna lie, not just because my daughter killed him, but I feel that he's still keeping something from us.

Overall a great chapter riri, can't wait to see the ending to this wild story and who the mastermind is or traitor. Hope you are well and thanks for getting this out on my birthday, have a great day.
Ziggymia123 chapter 54 . 7/20/2019
KAUMI'S BROTHER IS ASAHI. IT'S TOBI'S ASSHOLE FROM MoDE!

Ahem.

So that bit at the end seems to hint that we have a bit of a V3 situation, that our cast aren't actually Ultimates and that maybe they volunteered to go through this. Also maybe hints that they had already gone through multiple rounds of VR? Unclear. Maybe I'm still hopeful that everyone else is still alive, just being held somewhere doing something. Maybe they had their brains wiped and are being happy little worker bees. Idk. That's probably too much to hope for.

The CEO is... interesting. So he's the Lord and not the Boss. And of course we have the "Mastermind" (very. very heavy air quotes there.) Right now, Lord is presenting as the ultimate threat but I don't know if I completely buy it. I feel like there's still someone waiting in the wings...

Have fun at orientation!
Ziggymia123 chapter 53 . 7/12/2019
Kotori! Plot twist, this is a prequel to the Committee Saga! No? Oh, fine...

So everyone is locked inside of the building? That probably has something to do with all of the disappearances. Why do I get the feeling that Liberatas aren't necessarily the "bad guys." I mean, obviously they've done a lot of awful things. But is there a third party out there that's making all of this necessary? And what's with the multiple references to parallel universes? Did Junko jump universes and invade this one? haha

Plot twist, narrator is AU!Junko.
Prince PokePersona chapter 53 . 7/9/2019
Yay another chapter, great job riri, almost there to the end and I have to say this chapter was just as good as the other ones. We're getting closer and closer to the mystery behind the virtual simulator as well as why the cast was put into a killing game in the first place, this is going to be so much fun.

So we get the girls perspective on this hunt for clues, this is going to be fun. From what I can gather, the crisis outside in the world has to deal with overpopulation and lack of resources and such. I can see the simulators being used to facilitate those into a reality where they can decrease the population in a less lethal way, but also test the waters for how well the subjects react to them. I wonder why they chose Ultimates though, that's an interesting question to be asked.

Theia and Libertas are at each others' throat with Libertas being the underdog but also the villain supposedly, if Fumio's allegiance to Theia is to be trusted, then it means everyone is in the midst of the danger in the belly of the beast. I have a feeling that while the workers are hostile towards the cast, it must be a red herring as to the true nature of Libertas, at least that's what I think.

I also liked how we got a sneak peek into Saori's mind as to what she's thinking. So she sold her sister's body to pay for her expenses and this Shoutarou man acted as her boss and somewhat a pseudo parental figure in her life as she helped him run his business, interesting. I can see her desire to travel arose from her willingness to explore as well as escape her confined life as well, poor thing, she deserved better.

In regards to the mastermind, my opinion hasn't changed as much, but I can safely say that it's either Kamui, Sagiso from the remaining cast, but with that missing body, I can also surmise that it might be someone who faked their death, and my prime suspect is Fumio.
While Fumio seems like the likely option, considering he had a lot to do in the last case, I have the feeling that he planned for Kaniza to kill him and then plan things out from there and make it so that the cast find evidence making Libertas out to be the bad guys, when Theia was the real villain, that's just my theory.

As for Kamui and Sagiso, those two are the only ones whose backstories haven't been delved into, which probably says a lot, given their talents relate to the overpopulation crisis in some shape or form, Kamui with death and Sagiso with locations. I suspect Sagi more since her talent seems fitting for this scenario.

Other than that, now that all the cast has reconvened, we can finally find out who is behind all of this and finally come to the end of this long mystery. I can't believe we got this far, but great job riri, good luck with your other stories and later.
TheRoseShadow21 chapter 53 . 7/9/2019
SO MUCH SAORI SPOTLIGHT. I really made her suffer in her life, huh? I am glad that she and Sagi have reunited with Kaniza now, perhaps it is time for them to save the day. But anyway, great chapter! I look forward to the next!
Ziggymia123 chapter 52 . 6/18/2019
Oof. Our friends really are not having a good time, huh? Shot and broken legs and crawling with bugs... last chapter ended on a far more optimistic note! Haha of course it couldn’t last.

No notebook this time, but there were still some obvious clues, mostly what was in the torture room. It really doesn’t paint a pretty or hopeful picture, does it? Especially with the drug that can make someone obsessed with the giver. I wonder if that’s what happened to the Mastermind. They were given the drug (which is only given to the uncooperative) and that’s why they’re doing this. Though that would then imply that there was someone above the “Mastermind” who was actually pulling the strings. Someone like our lovely narrator, perhaps?
