  my-secret-garden chapter 1 . 3/29 O-M-G. I m not kidding you, this is amazing. Did you know I also headcanoned that Harry would have problems with his father simply because young boys always reminded the old captain of Petar Pan? Amazing you thought of that too! And the interaction/relationship between Harry and Uma is just so pitch-perfect spot-on, its amazing. It really is a complicated and harsh world for the kids on the isle, their parents belong to the worst kind of people ever, holding affection and love the lowesst of weaknesses- their children growing up questioning their sanety if they feel anything like this. What is so amazing with Uma and Harry is that, despite the rules of the Isle, they found a way to bend the rules. Thank you sooo much for writing this. |

The characterisation was flawless, the friendship feels were abundant and I love how you touched on the emotions between the two and Harry's slight insanity. Making this a one-shot was a good touch, too: everything was brought full-circle beautifully. My heart broke when Harry came to make Uma smile on her birthday, despite being badly abused by his father. I know they're supposed to be the bad guys, but I can't help but love them, and this story as well. You're such a good writer! Keep it up! |

U should DEFINITELY continue cuz that was amazing! *thumbs up* I think my two favorite parts were the peach birthday present (too adorable, i loved how Uma reacted) and the part were Uma was fixing Harry's back and he told her 'it hurts' and when she replied 'I know I'm sorry' and they were both crying I was like, 'No please have mercy, somebody heal my broken heart, PLEASE'!
