MoonPrincess919 chapter 6 . 11/17/2019
I really like this, though I still have one more chapter. One thing though. Ah...I have to admit, that was a little quick for me. I feel like it would take a few more interviews before they came to that conclusion. At the very least, they'd look into the backgrounds of everyone Lancer mentioned to possibly find out WHY he suggested them before they started the interviews.

Other than that, I really like this story. Its interesting to see how the BAU would react to the ghost attacks and Amity Park as a whole. You did really well with keeping them in character too
Selena chapter 7 . 2/8/2018
Once again, an amazing crossover! You gave a plausible reason for the BAU to be there, you had them find out about Danny Fenton and Danny Phantom being one and the same, you made them react normal to Jack and Maddie, there was this ghost fight Morgan and Prentiss witnessed and Danny, Jazz, Sam, Tucker and Lancer seemed in character. Though I was surprised at the fact that Lancer seemed to have realised Danny's identity and kept silent about it. Not sure if he would have, in canon. Then again, teachers do tend to be sensitive like that at times. It wasn't like Danny broke any laws, not really. Would've been nice though for Lancer to let up on him- he seems to almost relish in punishing him, even if it's obvious Dash was actually the bad guy.

The Guys In White...well, I find it hard to believe that they will stop chasing Danny...not for long anyway. Those stupid bastards are obsessed and we saw in 'Reality Trip' that they don't care about Danny being half human at all.

That's why I think Hotch and Co might've made a mistake in the long run telling those guys that Phantom is half human. Not a big jump to the conclusion that he's actually Danny Fenton. Then again, the GiW are stupid and at least for now, cowed by the BAU's threat. Still, makes me slightly worried.

Thank you for this fantastic story!

Hordak's Pupil chapter 6 . 10/14/2017
I am glad the team learned that Danny is a good guy and not a bad guy. Keep up the awesome work :D
gagaking chapter 6 . 10/8/2017
Some constructive criticism:
1) The updates for this story weren't that far apart, so repeating information about the same scene over and over (what each person learned from the people they talked to, what happened during the fight with technus) doesn't need to be repeated that often to the reader, since they still remember what happened.

2) I understand you are just trying to wrap up the story, and you have done a pretty good job of it so far. However, there are at least two other options that might be feasible that they didn't consider before they arrive at the (ultimately) correct conclusion.

Other than that though, you have done a great job so fat.

2A) Other possibility 1(that is probably in some fanfic somewhere): Maybe the ghost is unique because instead of having one obsession, it has two (protecting people, and living the life of a normal kid/the kid he would have been when he was alive). This could possibly be because he is actually a fusion of two other ghosts.

He looks like Danny, because he can't remember what he looked like before he died, and thinks "Danny Fenton" is a normal kid, and as such someone he could base himself on.

If Danny and Jazz Fenton are trying to help him "live" like a normal human and are reteaching him how to live, it would make sense that they would know him the best. They could have gone to Lancer, who could have helped by giving private tutoring and homework to Phantom, or letting him attend classes invisibly and grading the homework to make him feel like he belonged.

2B) Other possibility 2: Phantom could be different kind of spirit that gets most of his power only when overshadowing someone in a unique way (ie: he is usually weaker, but gets much more powerful when overshadowing someone than other ghosts), and he usually overshadows Danny for this purpose, which has over time given him more human desires and a multi-dimensional personality. This could also be why he looks like Danny, as he is using an alternative form of overshadowing him at the time.

2C) Other possibility 3: The fright knight, Wisconsin Ghost, and the ghost king were also said to possibly have complex motives, and were the most powerful ghosts the Fentons had ever seen. Maybe more powerful ghosts can act more human, and/or have more than one obsession.

2D) Other possibility 4: He only really cares about protecting people (or at least the Fentons) and is giving instructions on what to say and act to confuse people about who specifically he is trying to protect. (He has Fenton technology, why not earphones?). This is the weakest of the three possibilities, by far, but it still is a possibility.

3) No one interviewed any students, just Mr. Lancer (but this saves time and seems acceptable to me).

4) The people seem oddly well informed about Phantom's negative publicity events, and people are generally uniformly more positively inclined towards him than might be expected. Then again, this wasn't meant to be a 200K word epic story, so that should be ok as part of the Suspension of Disbelief.

Still, other these minor issues, you have done a great job so far. Keep up the good work!

good story
RedKnight21 chapter 7 . 10/8/2017
That's it, no offence but that ending sucked. I mean it was so boring to read and their was nothing remotely interesting at the end. I thought you were building up to a grand finally, like a battle or something, not with that.
Jaylen13 chapter 7 . 10/8/2017
this was a nice short story but the question is, will there be a sequel? (please say yes)
Miriam1 chapter 7 . 10/8/2017
This was a satisfactory conclusion to a fun little crossover.

It is clear that the agents are far better at handling kids than most adults in Amity Park. And of course, Sam was appropriately sullen, Tucker was appropriately in awe, and Danny was just... perfect. Nicely done.

Having Danny and friends explain their trouble with the Guys in White was logical, and it seemed... Well, sometimes the BAU follows suspects that aren't necessarily the ones everyone THINKS they are gunning for. The idea that they were following the Guys in White for "being hinky" to giving them an official warning to criminal proceedings if they continue on their current route was a lovely turn.

It isn't the first time that the perpetrator gave the team a false lead. But here, the truth was far more interesting, and the team discovered a relatively unsung hero as well as putting him and his friends at ease.

This story was a lot of fun. Thank you for the wonderful ride.

Sincerely,
Miriam

Welp, it took six chapters for the BAU to figure out what the whole town didn't until Phantom Planet (which didn't happen).
Miriam1 chapter 6 . 10/1/2017
The team meet is always interesting, especially because they see so very many different things.

Rossi and Hotch describing the Amity Park police was simply fun. The fact that Officer Vasquez is guilty of criminal solicitation, or would be if anyone took him seriously at the time, is understood. While no one took him seriously, they also won't let him forget it.

Garcia is so true to character! She is delightfully indignant concerning Danny's almost treatment by Officer Vasquez. And, of course, she's protective of her team. You've captured everyone beautifully. Their characterizations are perfect. Well done!

Reid and Prentiss just make me smile. Yup - Danny is both boy and ghost, and Prentiss pointed out what anyone who isn't operating under their own personal biases about ghosts sees immediately. (The same observation was made by Abby in "Murder Most Spectral." However, it makes SO much sense.)

Rossi and Morgan will be a fun addition to the next chapter.

Nicely done, and I look forward to your next installation.

Sincerely,
Miriam
Miriam1 chapter 5 . 10/1/2017
Mr. Lancer is one of my personal favorite Danny Phantom characters, right after Danny and Vlad.

He is completely right to act defensive, protective of the students - the Guys in White have proven that federal agents in Amity Park have to prove their worth, or they deserve to be put in the box of shame with Operatives O, K, and L. But JJ and Reid are more than up for the task. It's a beautiful thing.

Maybe it's because he's a teacher, or maybe it's just his character, but Mr. Lancer is wonderfully observant. My heavens, I can practically hear the voice actor's voice in your dialogue! It's delicious. But it's truly lovely to see him defend Phantom, as he's operating with the knowledge that Phantom is Fenton.

It's cute how the idea is danced around in canon, but it seems to be one of those moments that he personally is underwhelmed with. In the same way he can't understand that kids can't tell the photograph on his desk that he SAYS is his sister is really HIM in a DRESS, he has probably figured out Danny's secret the first time he personally saw Danny Phantom. (It's just a hunch.)

Describing the students' reactions to Phantom was precious. No one seems to focus on the fact that an observant adult observes FAR more than they are given credit for.

I love the friendly banter in the later part of the conversation between Mr. Lancer and JJ and Reid.

And Reid has mentally announced what was probably immediately obvious to the agents: that Danny is both the kid and the ghost.

This is a fun chapter. I look forward to reading further.

Sincerely,
Miriam
Miriam1 chapter 4 . 10/1/2017
The Fentons are filled with all kinds of information on ghosts, in general. It's sad, but even as informative as they are, they were - for the most part - no more useful than the Guys in White. They have the same information, if a great deal more enthusiasm, and examples of the obsessions of most ghosts.

They were useful in pointing out 'the Wisconsin Ghost,' as that makes more of a 'pattern' than I think even the Fentons appreciated. But the BAU are good at discovering patterns. It's a beautiful thing.

Describing Danny Phantom in his ghost fight was a bit of an eye-opener for the Morgan and Prentiss. They got to see that the Fentons are concerned with the public safety, and they got to see Jack's single-mindedness. (He made a good ghost. Seriously.)

However, I love Jack's honest patriotism. This is only one place where he shows it. (Federal agents! It's un-American!) I love him, no matter how much of a goof he is.

This was a lovely chapter. I look forward to reading further.

Sincerely,
Miriam
