This is my favorite Steven Universe OC stories. You don’t see a lot of good ones around here. And as for the fusion, I can totally see them as a unakite. It’s a quartz, it’s a healing gem like Steven, and it’s used for ‘balancing the emotional body’ which is what was happening to Malley when they started fusing.

I know nothing about gems so you're asking the wrong person for a fusion.
Watch as Malley and Lapis become the strongest duo. The mother daughter combo.

I'm guessing the screaming was caused by Steven. Steven is basically Rose. Malley is Malachite who is part Jasper. Jasper hates Rose and reacted to Rose's/Steven's healing saliva.

What? It's ending? Nooooooo! This story is so good and I want you to continue it. But, as much as I want to beg you to do so, you sound like you've made up your mind. So I'll just say it has been a blast reading this story and I wish there was more to it. Keep writing like this and, with a little work, you could be a great author.
