Your OC is playing a VERY dangerous game here. Sure it can make Harry jealous, but it can also push him away from her pretty easly. If Ginny knew the first thing about manipulation, that's the moment she would have chose to plant the seed of doubt in Harry regarding Angel and it would have been easy to do.

I like the fact that Harry has done some casual dating after the war, in so many stories he is some kind of perfect gentleman waiting for his one true love. It's refreshing to see him acting like a normal teenage boy / young adult.

Well for someone who is perfect for Harry, Ginny sure seems to need a lot of coatching XD
Her idea of using formal courting is bound to fail. She is basically trying to force Harry to go on date with her, no one would like that especially someone who had the kind of life Harry had.
