Darth Vader Can Have some pretty funny moments in Cannon As well.. Aside from "Choke on your ambitions" there was "Apology Accepted" and "Congradualations on your promotion"

The last few chapters were heartbreaking. I really hoped the ISB agent was sent by Vader. But of course, it was Palpatine.

Fantastic story! This is the first time I've come upon one using such a concept, and I must say, you pulled it off very well! Luke as an Imperial pilot was interesting to read, and his relationship with his squadmates (particularly Chaser) was touching. I also like how Vader became aware of Luke's parentage near the end of the story; a lot of authors tend to hasten the reveal, but it was nice to see their bond develop before either of them knew of their relation. The way you write Palpatine is also very appealing- I've found that a lot of times he's overtly callous in these types of stories, but he manages to hide and justify his evil intentions perfectly here.
Overall, great job!

I’m breathless. Fascinating portrayal of life as an Imperial pilot, something we never see. I love seeing them portrayed as humans, not the faceless pilot of the movies nor the simple villains of stories. Vader is so believable as harsh, conflicted, fighting any self-perceived weaknesses of concern or caring. Luke is equally well drawn, especially as his sureness of his beliefs begin to erode. His final speech was so dignified and honest. Thank you for such an enjoyable read! Now on to read part two...

Cette histoire est vraiment génial. J’ai faillit lâcher une larme dans les derniers chapitres et j’ai encore la boule au ventre.
Le dilemme de Vador était tellement bien écrit et Palpatine était égale à lui même : Le plus gros enfoiré manipulateur de la galaxie.
J’ai dévoré cette histoire en quelques jours. C’est vraiment super bien écrit, scénario impec’... Parfait.
Maintenant je ne sais plus quoi faire : dévorer le tome suivant et devoir patienter ou attendre un peu qu’il ai plus de chapitre ? Je pense que le second serait le mieux mais que je vais quand même prendre le premier !

I fully intend to wait before picking up the sequel. Why? Because this one was so devastatingly good and the end was brutal. I can’t wait to read your sequel, but for the sake of my mental health and general well-being I’m going to wait a year or two and see how far the sequel has come along before starting it. Living chapter to chapter can be tough in this economy...
