Solid foundations to build upon, already great character exploration (if not development since it is the beginnning), a few changes here and there to deviate from Canon in order to keep things interesting. | Kawisdom chapter 4 . 8/28/2019 Rereading this reminded me how fascinating it is. Naruto and his team are changing their opinions and goals and it's not a painless process for any of them. Sasuke especially would have to change right down to the core of himself, where he places the label "avenger". Your fight scene worked, with Sasuke going all out because he always imagines he'll be fighting alone. That's how I see him, anyway. Naturally a trickster like Naruto turned the fight around with clever improvisation. He's got a talent for thinking on his feet. I hope to see this team take shape now that the others are finally seeing that struggling alone isn't working. Now they just need a real sensei. This idiot they've got just wants to brag that he taught the Uchiha prodigy. |
