Aw this AU was adorable! I'm absolutely in love with a Mad Hatter Remus and how Sirius took such a huge risk just to have the possibility of seeing Remus again. This AU was such a great idea, and using WolfStar made it even better. I loved how you included Alice and Lily as well. There are so many wonderful things about this fic, but I adored Remus' blushing and Sirius' happiness at being able to be who he was, finally. Sirius' curiosity was also adorable, and I loved how they had "forever" to explore and get to know each other. This was really sweet!

I really enjoyed the different worlds that you created here. And I love your Remus/Hatter. He was wonderfully insane and full of nonsense babble.
I am curious about how Lily, Alice, and Sirius all ended up down the hole at the same time/close to. And how they came back...

Okay so I may or may not have an obsession with both Alice and Wonderland and Harry Potter and just the fact that this was so well written and combines both, it makes me so happy! I love this story so much!

I really can't see Sirius as one who runs off instead of facing his parents. In canon, he was rebellious before running away.
Other than that, I have to say this is a great story. AUs are wonderful and this even more because it has all the magic of HP and the quirkiness of Alice in Wonderland's setting.
I like the twist you gave to the original, as this makes it even better given the characters' attitudes and ways of thinking.
One thing I loved is Alecto being thought of as a man–eater XD I loved that!

A Wonderland AU wasn't something I thought I needed, but then I read this. You've written this AU quite well (also Remus as the Hatter is amazing). My god, this is great, I love it!

Omg, I'm dying - Sirius' parents organized his wedding and they didn't even tell him, it's such an asshole thing for them to do, and also such a them thing to do. Also Sirius is oblivious and I love it :p
(and god, "I know your eyes", like come on, Sirius, be even more obvious, I'm sure you can manage somehow :p)
Omg, they are so adorable, their conversation is so awkward I love it it's amazing! Like Sirius is wondering how many exes Remus does have and Remus is being all cryptic about love and then he says "third time's the charm" while looking at Sirius and he's even worse than him at not being terribly obvious and I love it! It's adorable!
And now Remus' looking into Sirius' eyes and saying "beautiful", omg, smooth, Remus, smooth :p
And of course Minerva is the queen, who else would it be :p
Oh, I love this. I loved that your Wonderland was a mix of the actual Wonderland and the magical world, plus a safe place fro Sirius to escape his wedding and the homophobia of his world - plus be with Remus, cause let's be honest, he was smitten the moment he saw him, which is always a trope I love :p
And the dialogues between the two were always so cute and sweet and adorable, and I loved everything about this story :)

Okay, the Hatter just left the scene, and I'm so entranced by your story that I have to find out what happens next. I really like how you've created that mysterious mood around Wonderland by having the Hatter be very vague about this world and how you've tied it in with canon by mentioning Alice!

Bringing into the story Sirius's being gay and wanting to get away from this world because of it makes his desire to go to Wonderland more reasonable, and not just him being childish or flighty.

I was guessing the Hatter was Remus from the beginning as soon as amber eyes were mentioned. His characterization seems a lot more outgoing and whimsical than it is in canon, but we'll see how this goes.

Oh gosh, I love the little details, like how Remus fell in love with one of the Queen's cards.

But I'm also struck by the hilarity of how quickly Sirius is moving. He just fell into a whole new world and his first thought is to try to get into Remus's pants.

I think Remus came around to being a little more bashful near the end of the story, which felt more consistent with how he's normally portrayed but also kind of different than how he was in the beginning of the story.

I really liked this! The witty dialogue from Remus's side reminded me a lot of canon Hatter.

I would have loved to see some more of Sirius's interactions with the creatures/the other things in Wonderland. I think that even though this is a Wolfstar story that it could have taken more advantage of the alternate universe, because a large portion of the story was just Remus and Sirius talking to each other about falling in love or kissing.

However, I do think you tied the story in with Alice in Wonderland nicely. The little details like the humming flowers (one of my favorite segments from the Disney film!) added up to contribute to the surreal mood.

Overall, this was a really cute story! I loved it!

AH! I haven't read one of your stories in such a long time that this one is SO AMAZING. What a way to be introduced to you again! First off, I LOVED the concept of Sirius and Remus in a Wonderland setting. I liked how you built the world Sirius was living in similar to the world in the Harry Potter Universe. It felt so natural to imagine the characters in a slightly tweaked version. I totally adore the way you wrote the Wonderland world, even adding some hints of the Wizarding World like the bowtruckles and the whole Alice and Lily bit! When I first read the name Alice and I just assumed it was, you know, the real Alice, not Alice Long bottom! That bit was pure genius.

Secondly, the part I was waiting to talk about, the Wolfstar aspect! Jeez, I totally think they fit their roles in this AU. Sirius fit his role as looking for freedom and adventure, and I loved how the Hatter is known for being a bit mad and you managed to make Remus the Hatter with still maintaining the personality of Remus! Oh, Sirius was like a love sick puppy towards him! I found that so adorable. The bit where Sirius went on about his feelings and how he wanted to know if he could marry a man was so heart warming! Especially because he even looked around and lowered his voice since it was pretty much condemned in his world. The way Remus softened was wonderful and how he helped Sirius realize that Wonderland was the way to go basically filled my fluff needs.

Finally, the KISS! Gosh, that bit practically made me squeal! It's such a Sirius thing to do and just go for it without stressing so much over it and waiting for the right signals. I totally loved his reasoning over it, too. How he didn't want to wait because he was finally free!

This story was beautiful, and it's making me want to go binge read all of your works! Well done! :D

Great intro. I'm also nerous about Walburga wearing any kind of hat. There is definitely sorcery involved. I think you characterised her really well, she was really intimidating even when she was 'trying' to be caring and nice.

I love the little thought Sirius had about Lucius. It really added some light into what was probably quite a depressing scenario - I mean, I can kind of assume that Alecto wants to marry Sirius, and Walburga is probably all for that idea (after all, Alecto is Walburga's second-cold/empty woman).

I like your Walburga more and more throughtout the fic. I feel like there is a reason that she doesn't take a step into the maze, but perhaps its just because she judged Sirius to be behaving so childishly running around a maze, that she doesn't want to join in by chasing him. The little reference to canon with her comment about bringing shame on the family was noted :P

Argh Remus as the hatter is better than I expected. I like how you didn't take it over the top by making him ridiculously insane. There's still Remus's character beneath the quirkiness of the hatter!

I can't believe that Sirius only just realised that he was about to attend his own wedding. How evil is Walburga to just spring that on him! She obviously assumes he wouldn't dare to turn it down in front of so many people - and it explains Walburga's best hat. I like the idea of the vows being a 'commitment' to the world, and if he goes through with it then he won't be able to go to Wonderland. Also, I really get the impression that Wonderland is like a metaphor for the freedom that Sirius so longingly desires, a place without the rules that his parents have always enforced upon him.

I just realised that the 'Alice' that was supposed to come to Wonderland in Sirius's place originally is Alice Longbottom - I'm entirely behind that idea! I also love this little bit about Remus having a brief thing with Frank in the past.

Aww the WolfStar kiss was so lovely and a bit sexy with the waist grabbing and hair stroking *shudders*. I love how honest Remus is with him, wanting to know why he was the one that Sirius chose - another aspect I think is true to his character.

Including Bowtruckles was a great idea! It really linked Wonderland to the Wizarding World, and made me think just how weird and wonderful a lot of the Harry Potter characters are :)

QUEEN MINERVA! Argh yes of course she is the White Queen. I AM OBSESSED with the idea of Minerva being the Queen!

I absolutely LOVED this fic. I love that you didn't have to go with a kind of negative aspectt to the Wonderland. It was more about Sirius finding freedom in this world and it was just such a beautiful concept. The descriptions of Remus and Wonderland in general (like the trees with the multicoloured leaves) were so beautiful and well written, and I just hope that Sirius never gives thought to Walburga (though I do really want Regulus to fall in the hole too).
