Amazing, downright amazing. I love Zane's character a lot since I can relate to him a lot, as I'm half-crazy like him and would provably do the same actions he's been doing if I was in the same situation with the same skillset.

The writing is perfect, no grammar errors, and if there was one; I'd probably have missed it since it would've Ben so minor.

And the 'windows 10' comment/threat to the AI, I loved it - I laughed hysterically at it.

One of my fav things in fiction stories is when authors bring skill sets from games I’ve loved and played into their fiction and assassin a are badass this story just got a one way ticket to binge town

I read the story and enjoyed it A lot. And while I can’t be certain I think I can see what you were referring to with the “where there is death there will always be death line”. I may be wrong but it seemed to me that because you added in an additional member of the team, time naturally would of tried to “even” itself back out by removing the additional team member. Seeing as Zane was just a little but O/P the attempt on his life didn’t work time had to reach out to the next possible death, thereby Ash dying to compensate for Zane being alive.

Wasn't a fan of the death duo, but it was suprising. I think Blaze mistook/misunderstood the whole "There will always be death, where there's death." quote. I'm under the assumption that it doesn't have to be the characters that die canonically that have to die. Like you can change Ashley and Kaiden's gate by saving them both, but someone still had to die. So saving both of them will kill Garrus, Tali, Liara, or Wrex. Hell maybe even Shepard, or the OC.

Not a fan of the whole real world gun being in his gear, and magically working in the same/similar way as ME weapons. I'll get over it though.

Okay got to the end of the fic.
Now while I do like OP OC's centric fic's especially insert versions there were a few things I didn't like.

1st The fact he had no armor in combat I know there's shields but you could've at least worn a futuristic Kevlar vest under the hoodie.

2nd The fact that Tali and him didn't become a actual thing or had a romance scene.

3rd The death's of 2 major team-mates instead of one would've felt better if you had the other one wounded to the point she was taken out of the squad for extensive treatment at a hospital for like 6 month's.

4th I am a little let down he had only one modern ME enhanced weapon, would've like to see him be able to make his own and then sell them to the public. Also agree the G36C would've looked awesome but also maybe the FN-P90 SMG.

Okay little sad there was no "romance" scene between Zane and Tali.

Huh surprised Zane wasn't arrested since he is known as a vigilante.

WAIT WHAT THE HELL?!

First what was stopping Zane from stealing the info when no one was looking then handing it to Wrex?

Second if he knew she had to die and also knew shep wouldn't let you kill her why then didn't he bring something like a slow acting fatal poison to use on her unknown to the squad. Like using the false ring trick and bump into her when she tries to run or dropping a grenade behind the group that will be triggered by her when she runs.

Third I don't think you can have both way's cause that phrase of "there will always be death when there's death" means Zane can't change the fate of those who die in canon but then out of nowhere you have people dying when they lived in canon. I get you need to add change and twist's to get people hooked but killing both on virmire is a little much.

Umm why did she mention shep so far only Liara has been really close to shep while Tali has been close to Zane unless there were scenes you didn't show to us showing differently?
