Well, this was a really interesting “what if” scenario. I myself absolutely adore this Kind of story and have written many “what if” scenarios as well.

I liked Sherlocks reflections over pretty much the whole on screen relationship that you wrote out. It looks like you included just about every conversation between them that we saw.

I was totally thrown for a loop when John came up to the flat and short saw a Sherlock with a gun. I haven’t even contemplated that he might be suicidal, but it certainly makes sense. He really did almost kill himself over Mary and losing Molly that way, it wouldn’t surprise me at all if he decided life wasn’t worth living because she is the one who has his heart. She’s part of him and it would be even worse for him to have realized he loved her after it was too late. So that was a very nice twist and very believable.

Thank God John arrived in time to save him from himself! Very glad for the happy ending for our wonderful couple!

i know we all want a happy ending. I really think Molly died after that phone call. Sherlock realised this and that's why he was so distressed after. Eurus said there were no explosives, "why would I be so clumsy". Molly had a bad day. I think the "I love yous" pushed her over the edge. (She topped herself.). The last scenes are very unrealistic and more like a dream sequence. Not real.
