The last time? Aw, I was hoping to see the Victory Tour, too...but maybe that's just me being greedy and wanting to see even more of Dion, lol.
Anyway, it's nice to see things wrapped up in a nice, neat ending - a SYOT first for me, as all the other SYOTs I've submitted to are either abandoned or in progress. It's nice to see how Dion reacts to his victory and to rewatching the deaths - it helps develop his character more, since we unfortunately didn't get to see as much of his character in the reapings as some of the other tributes. Especially considering the fact he wasn't a traditional Career, and his only kill the entire Games is the final death that was clearly a "kill or be killed" situation.
I'm a bit sad to see the story come to a final ending, but I'll be around! If I can find some inspiration when you gear up to accept submissions to a new SYOT, I'll definitely submit a tribute or two!
As always, I enjoyed the chapter! Keep up the good work and hopefully I can take this journey with you again in the future.

While Dion wasn't my favorite character, I'm really happy with him as a Victor. The final fight was pretty intense, and he worked for every inch towards Victory. He definitely deserved it. Congrats to SparkALeah! I can't wait to see Dion in the post-Games chapters!

I had been rooting for Dion for a while. When I lost both Shelldon and Alys, he almost instantly became my choice for Victor. And glad to see he won as well. Congrats for your victor, SparkaLeah. You deserve it.

Aaaaah it's the end! My heart was pounding this entire chapter! I'm a bit sad that Tesla didn't win, but I'm proud that he got as far as he did - and I mean, we can't all see one of our tributes be the Victor. If Tesla didn't win, I was hoping that Dion would, and they had a pretty intense final fight, so I definitely think Dion deserved it and I'm happy he won! I didn't really want Candella to win (sorry Skyheart033) so he was my second choice after my own tribute.
Once again, I'm really happy with the way you wrote Tesla - truth be told, I recycled him because I wasn't entirely happy with the way he had been written before - I didn't feel like he was done justice in that SYOT. But you definitely did justice for him here! His personality, his moral code, everything about him was just spot-on, and I don't fault you for writing him the way you did in the final fight. It still lines up perfectly with his character. Furthermore, I'm honored that you liked him so much you bumped him up in place. Thank you so much for accepting both him and Bobbin into this SYOT - you wrote them just how I envisioned right through to the end. And thank you overall for this wonderful story! It's been a pleasure to read and my heart always pounds with both excitement and nervousness with each update. You're a pretty good writer and overall storyteller, and I'm sure all the other people who submitted to this story enjoyed it and the way you wrote their characters just as much as I did.
I'm definitely excited for the post-Games chapters and I'm glad you thought to include them! After growing attached to Dion and seeing him claw his way to the top, I don't want that to just be /the end/ for him. I want to see how he feels afterward, how he feels facing the family of those who fell before him, and how he feels watching the tapes. It's interesting and I hope more SYOT writers follow your example including those chapters. I might submit some NEW tributes to a future SYOT you do because I love your writing and I know that you follow through with your SYOTs, but there's no guarantee. I'm pretty busy right now with work and my final year of college and I have other OCs for other fandoms that I'm working on, plus a roleplay game that's starting up soon. I'll try, though. Depending on how long your other SYOTs take, things might have calmed down in my life by the time you make the next one. I loved being part of this SYOT and it would definitely be a pleasure to take a journey like this with you again.

Wow what an ending!

I'm so sorry for not reading, I've honestly forgot about my chatacters

Aaaaah the end is near and I'm so excited! My boy made it to the top three! Even if he's not the Victor I'm still so proud of him for coming this far and ESPECIALLY for managing to kill Calloway there at the end! Daaang boy. I'm hoping either he or Dion wins.
The part with Dion's POV had me really on edge! I was worried that was the end for him, especially when the branch snapped under him and he fell out of the tree. But he's okay! That and the Calloway/Tesla fight really had my heart pounding.
As for the bit about the post-Arena chapters, PLEEEEASE! I would love to see some more chapters about the Victor after the Games themselves end, before we finally say goodbye to this SYOT and these tributes.

Aw, I was hoping Calloway would be the victor. But he was my second choice. My first one is well...Dion.

I feel like Dion would have good chances, the only problem being that he isn't willing to kill. I'm at a neutral point of Candella, but seeing her win will certainly be surprising. I kinda don't really want Tesla to win, since he's a recycled tribute and it wouldn't be fair if he was the winner because everyone else sent in original tributes and...yeah.

Also, I'm glad that you've made so much progress on this story and can't wait to see the finale!

Ah! I didn't expect Ellie to die from her wound since she's managed to hang on for so long with it. I'm sure Phantom is cackling from his grave. I can't say that Ellie was my favorite Tribute, but I will miss her.
It's definitely super poetic to liken Brock to the bear mutt, both in how he lived and how he died. Wow! I felt like during the Games themselves, Brock's character became harder to connect to. His death reminded me, though, of who he was before he joined the Careers, and I liked him then.
It's cool that Candella is starting to play a little offense. It establishes her as a threat, which at this point could mean potential Victor.
Uh oh, Dion is bending his rules a little bit. I wonder what that will mean for a) how he thinks and b) the Tributes he interacts with.
Candella would be an exciting Victor. She knows when to run from a fight and when to start one, and she's much smarter than people seem to give her credit for. I'm kind of rooting for her (even though she indirectly killed Laurel). Calloway could very well be Victor. He's strong and capable, and I might've voted for him earlier. However, he seems like less and less of a person since Calamity died. I don't know with him. Dion could win. He's strong, and it's interesting to see him come to grips with the fact that maybe he'll have to kill. I'm very interested to see how Ellie's death will affect him, and I kind of want him to win to see how he would cope with being a Victor. I liked Tesla a lot before, but I don't know anymore. I just can't really see him winning, unless maybe he does something drastic that makes you feel for him.
Overall, it's anyone's Game. I'm rooting for Candella, though Dion would make a very intriguing Victor. Aaagh, I don't know.
