Aww, she's finally here. :)

Good day. As a big Grand Theft Auto fan, I couldn't believe I finally stumbled upon a sequel on Niko's story and I must say, this was an excellent adaption. After spending each night reading a chapter over the follow the weeks, I thought I'd summarise the whole story with a singular review.

Story wise, I liked the premise from the beginning. I’ve been browsing through the GTA FanFiction archive every now and then, and it's been difficult to find a story that captivated my attention from start to finish. Taking place after one of the endings is great, as it gives you the freedom to write how you please without concern for continuity. In the first couple of chapters, I really did love how you described Niko's difficulty with Kate's death. My problem with the Revenge ending, while it was the better choice, unless you met up Kate throughout the story, there's no emotional weight behind it, in contrasts to Roman, who was there from the start. Well done there.

Most of the story had me captivated from start to finish, however, there were a couple of instances I was mixed on. The side plot with Johnny and Jessie, while not bad, it felt out of place to me. The same applies to Lilly's stepmother and their whole hostile relationship, that felt unneeded, too. But I'm not stating that as a fact, that's just my personal opinion. Furthermore, I do like how it somewhat teases and builds up to GTA V's story, so nice work there with continuity.

Now, for characters. Happy to say, I enjoyed how you wrote our faithful characters while adding your own OCs. Niko and Lilly's relationship was nicely built up from start to finish, it was believable and good to read. Damir was an interesting antagonist and how he ties into Niko's past. As for the other characters such as Jessie and her gang, they were okay, but not having as much as an impact to the story for me.

Now for the criticism. Your structure was top note, no problem there. Spelling wise, there were a couple of typos that my eyes caught. As for grammar, that applies on the same level. They were very minor to the point I can't even recollect where they were located. Another positive there.

And that’s my review for Shadows of the Night. I enjoyed this story, I think with a few tweaks here and there, you could make this perfect. Great work and I hope to see more GTA stories from you in the future.

Took me a while to get back into the GTA phase but here I am and wow its been a while since I read this. Anyways loved the ending and hopefully we may get to see snippets of Lily's and Niko's future and their children.

Sigh...sad to see it end, but oh well, Damir is finally dead and Niko has finally resolved all his past ties. Kinda curious as to whether Annette will finally snap out of her delusion or not. Stay fresh!

Sad to see it end, but glad Niko is alive and well. He'll make a good father. :) Now you have me wondering if they have a boy or girl.

You figured that the McRearys mother would probably die too huh? Yeah i just don't see a woman survivig burying two kids at least not at that age. Did yo kill Derrick off cause thats the cannon? I believe the GTA IV story makes it so that you either treat Kates death as canon or Romans but Kates was since Roman is alive by V and as far as Derrick or Frankie, Derrick OD'd or he died in '08 cause Packie doesnt mention his death in V but then i know packie hates Fracis too.

I can answer Niko's queestion on what people from India think. A lot of them don't like us theres a hell of a lot of them in the city i live in.

I always thought Kiki was as good as Niko could hope for lol. Shes crazy but what woman isn't to a degree?
