This is such an amazing story, I was wondering if you were going to continue it by any chance? Or any of your other stories that are incomplete, like Contrapposto or The Very Merry Widow...I would read any Caryl story by you actually. You are my favorite Caryl author and I can't count the number of times I have re-read all your stories about our beloved Daryl and Carol. I hope you are well, and I hope we hear from you again. Thanks for everything you have shared with us so far, it's very much appreciated.

I honestly thought after Dix's ride you'd be wrapping this up, so I'm glad for the plot twist and the angst! Sounds to me like Negan is looking for other ways to hurt our sweethearts!

This was so good. It was intense and sad and heartbreaking!

You sneaky minx! I thought it was smooth sailing! I really like this twist because I'm a sucker for a good ol' whodunit! Great way to bring in Deanna and her family too. You really conveyed how dangerous the sport is and I have a whole new appreciation for why Carol might want daryl to retire sooner than later.

So look good, lady! This chapter was amazing! The tension, excitement and angst was palpable. The description of synchronicity was phenomenal. The rodeo terms before the chapter were perfect, to help the reader live the chapter. Great stuff! Can't believe that Daryl will be a suspect. You ARE evil...

Oh this was so great. Loved what they did to Negan it was perfect!

Thrilled to see this one back and I love how you handled the Negan issue. It felt very true to the style of this story and straddled perfectly the line between of deserved happiness and sticky sweetness. Loved it!

Truly an excellent strategy as well as an excellent chapter. I really can't blame Dix for being pissed, seeing his Caro that way gives him every right to be upset. But, I know if he'd been able to see the actual meeting, he'd be very proud of her ability to really outsmart that scheming asshole.

Now I'm hoping that Dix can keep his head on straight to outride the dreaded Diablo, because when he does celebrations are certainly in order!
