I enjoyed this episode a lot as well and i, too, was a bit skepticall because no one would walk away from jumping through a window without getting a bit hurt in the process. Loved the story!

Thank you! This is exactly what I was thinking about when I watched that scene. I'm glad the writers had Mac kinda botch the landing, but then they messed up (least to me) by making him just shake it off and never mentioning it again. *sighs* They really need another Angsty/Hurt Mac episode soon.

LOVE! This is amazing! I have been waiting for someone to write a tag based on that ever since I saw Mac take that jump! (I just knew someone would, I mean, with an opening like that...)

I do think that he would ask Matty; Mac's very much 'Team is my Family', I mean, he clearly invited Thornton to Christmas, so...

Matty is still hard for me to write, too - trust me, I did something even weirder with her character in an upcoming work because I'm having a hard time writing her...

Loved the episode and your addition. It's really too soon to know Matty that well, they haven't given us enough, but she's definitely blooming in the right directions. That being said, you seem to be catching her very well along with everyone else in the lovely Garden of Mac. (don't know where these flower references are coming from, maybe just yearning for Spring)

Nicely done and so very needed! Of course he couldn't have walked away from that unscathed. You added just enough h/c and doctor Jack to give us all good closure. Thanks also for acknowledging the fact that Riley just may have an issue with being kidnapped and almost killed...the original writers kinda glossed over that but I know she's gonna have some serious nightmares and gee, perhaps not want to be alone for quite some time! Mac's instincts were correct all around, and asking Mattie was a nice touch. Even injured, our boy has a big heart. Thanks for sharing-you made my icy/snowy afternoon so much more fun!
