Very macabre but reading your notes it's not surprising. Have been there myself. Actually I am there myself right now, but haven't actually attempted anything. Maybe I'm too mucb of a coward to do so, or maybe there are too many people depending on me for me to selfishly take my own life. I commend you on bringing to life these two waring personalities of Cisco and Barry.

I really liked Barry's POV. My heart just continues to break for him. I really disliked Team Flash this season because they were all just so cruel to him. It's really no wonder Savitar hated all of them. Cisco was extremely cruel and a lot of his actions were completely uncalled for and downright hypocritical and immature. And he never really did apologize for them. I really hope he apologizes in the next chapter. It's probably going to take a lot for Barry to heal from this mentally, though. He's just so far gone. I was actually very surprised Savitar was a Time Remnant, because I feel like the version of Barry being ripped into could have become Savitar easily if pushed the right way. Then again, I guess being treated like he was worthless and not real was the tip of the iceberg for Barry that turned a future version of him into Savitar. I'll bet if Cisco hadn't forgiven him in the crossover though, with Caitlin becoming Killer Frost and Wally constantly competing with Barry and putting him down and Iris breaking off their engagement, etc, he would have become Savitar without a time loop. I'm sorry for my rant; I just really hate the way Barry was treated this season. I just love your story, because I feel like next chapter Barry might actually be treated well. What is it with people tearing into him? Is it because he is so selfless, forgiving, and kind? Does it make him an easy target or something? Cisco and Caitlin weren't ripped into this way for the particle accelerator explosion. I feel like Team Flash have a major double standard when it comes to a lot of things. I also can't believe that in this story, Cisco didn't stop Barry from cutting himself. He obviously needs help and Cisco just let him continue doing it. That's not what you do when you find out someone you know cuts himself/herself! Even if Cisco hated Barry, he still should have done something. Even if he just told Joe about it and didn't involve himself any further.
Any way, this chapter was amazing. I'm sorry I'm reviewing it so late; I've been busy with school and knew this was going to be a long review. I feel so bad for Barry. I hope he gets a happy ending in the next chapter. He needs hugs and love. Lots of it. I'd do it myself, but I don't exist in Flarrowverse. It'd be so sad if they save Barry next chapter and Cisco gives him a hug out of relief that he's still alive and Barry is super confused and wondering why Cisco isn't bummed out that he isn't dead.
