Hi. Ex-lurker here. I read this a while back but hadn't actually registered here yet; finally did that yesterday and so wanted to comment on your story. Awesome. Totally awesome. I loved Estel's relative innocence and the fact that he was a good 'student'. Fanuiriel, however, was not exactly the kind of girl you'd want to introduce to mom, now, was she? Manipulative and conniving, for sure. But where would the story be without her? Great story and you managed to pull off a bittersweet happy ending out of the hat without making it seem unrealistic. I liked the little interaction between Fanuririel and Arwen at the end of the story, too.

Well lookie here. The first person to read this probably going to be one of the last to review it. What kind of sense does that make?

This was great! Angry!Elrond was just divine. "The Valar do not need to be troubled with this foolishness." Ouch. Take that. And the little epilogue was wonderful.

Another wonderful story. It ended for the best. The last thing Gondor needed was a queen like her. Arwen is a MUCH better choice. You really are very gifted Arabella, more than you realize. You see into the depths of hearts and use what you see to write come very compelling stories that truly touch the heart. I am glad we have a chance to read your stories. God Bless you.
