Lordlexx chapter 3 . 2/20 I against your choice of daggers for Harry's primary weapon.. they are lame in the extreme. You should have stuck with the dual wielding or maybe a hand-and-a-half sword. |
mrayj chapter 1 . 8/30/2019 this story was really good till he got infected by a corruption of the fade when he is immune to it supposedly |
Guest chapter 1 . 8/25/2018 Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore |
myafroatemydog chapter 4 . 12/31/2017 Pretty good chapter. So I’m a little confused on the story is harry the main character for the first one? |
myafroatemydog chapter 3 . 12/31/2017 Why not have Harry with morrigan as well? This was a good chapter |
myafroatemydog chapter 2 . 12/30/2017 What about harryxmorrigan? Pretty good chapter |
myafroatemydog chapter 1 . 12/30/2017 Pretty good first chapter |
Isebas chapter 4 . 12/19/2017 Thanks for writing and sharing your ideas but I'm sorry but I was enjoying this story until you took away Harry's magic. What is the point of having Harry Potter in the world of Dragon Age if he can't even use his own magic? That totally killed my interest. |
Gotts chapter 4 . 12/12/2017 Seriously I freaking hate when people destroy a character like that. just delete this story you pretty much destroy Harry. |
rantingbanshee chapter 4 . 11/29/2017 This story is pointless. You nerfed Harry's magic to the point that he lost a simple fight with 2 darkspawn who's movements are are slow and encumbered by the fact that they are freaking zombies. What was the point of Harry going to all the pains of learning magic from his original world if you were always intending of stripping him of that magic. It's pretty obvious that you stripped him of his native magic because it was far too versitile and potent in the world of Dragon Age. Harry's kind are capable of teleporting, conjuring almost anything, transfiguring an army of battle-hardened Templars into fluffy white bunnies, manipulating dimensional pockets (space expansion charm), casting potent magic like Fiendfyre which could destroy entire hordes of Darkspawn or the killing curse which could rip the soul from the human body. Pointless crossover. Also, Harry doesn't seem to react to the fact that he lost his magic (which is a important part of him) or that he lost to two zombies which are slow to begin with and couldn't protect Bethany. Honestly, it would have been better if Harry wasn't a grey warden because he becomes another bland soldier with no special exotic magic save for that incomplete draconic transformation which doesn't seem to be all that useful. Without his magic, he won't be making that much of an impact or difference in this crossover. Lastly, there is literally no explanation for why Harry's magic failed him. Harry didn't even attempt to try another different spell, he just...gave up. Here is how you set up the scene: mmm hey I'll just have Harry loose his magic because he is too powerful that way...mmm but how to do it? I know, I'll just have Harry cast a spell which fails (without explaining to my audience why) and then he gets knocked out and becomes a grey warden...TADA, I am a genius! 10/10...for lack of creativity. |
ChaosDragon25 chapter 1 . 11/17/2017 holy crap it had been so long i forgot this story existed |
Bluesnowman chapter 3 . 11/9/2017 Very interesting |
LivininCorsets chapter 3 . 11/4/2017 I thought this had been posted before? if possible you can combine the charicters and pick with name if I have entered my character before I think the only difference was the details! But here's my character- Name; Merida Age; 21 Race; human/elf hybrid Personality; feisty, since of adventure, has a strong moral compass when it comes to killing but has no qualms about stealing. Has a thing for the "good guy" but tends to attract the "bad boy", does get a bit stuttery over a guy she likes (Alister maybe- or if taken zev) Faction; pirate, looking for her mother who is a warden. Appearance; dark hair, always twisted in multiple needed braids, or else it's a wind blown mess, falling to her mid back, a typical pirate hat upon her head, tropical blue eyes, pale skin that has been tanned by the sun (ie severe tan lines). (Off) White off the shoulder elbow length sleeved blouse held down by a purple under bust corset, a skirt the same shade of dark purple that's higher in the front (mid thy) than in the back, mid calf, with black lacing, tight leggings and black well worn mid calf boots, has a bucked back on her hip with her cutlass and daggers. Origin: never had an actual home, was born and raised on the ocean. Background; mother is an elf warden who was called to arms months ago, father who is a human pirate captain who is worried has Merida go look for her and to let her know that he has to leave or be caught. Hasn't seen either in a year- heard that father was captured and tried for piracy by the wrong people and hung. Mother is still missing, but word reaches about something in Loathering and makes her way there. Possibly makes warden if need be or just part of the group. Has the abilities to captain a ship. Specialization; swashbuckler(rogue/warrior) bard |
Guest chapter 4 . 10/15/2017 What you have here so far is quite good. I liked the OOC set-up chapter - I never understand why, when people make the canon characters OOC, they almost always turn them into comic-book villains. Not sure what I feel about Harry's partial transformation, but it has potential. I really like how the two types of magic negate each other, though (or rather, connection to the fade vs not). It makes me wonder if the people of Harry's Earth have their own ethereal shared connection to another plane (the events with the Deathly Hallows and Harry's "death" in canon certainly support the idea). Sorry to hear about your family's health issues - I hope that you continue to get favorable prognoses. |
ArthurShade chapter 4 . 10/10/2017 It's an amazing story. I'll keep your mother and sister in my prayers. |
