I don't have enough words to express how much I love this. Chirrut and Qui-Gon are two of my favourite characters, and you wrote both of them perfectly, from Chirrut's insight and determination to Qui-Gon's ability to see the Force through more than just the teachings of the Jedi. Baze and Obi-Wan were wonderfully written too, neither completely understanding their companions, but being devoted to them all the same. I really, really loved this, thank you very much for writing it.
