Ted fell in love with Season 1 Robin, the kinda girly, cold Robin with long hair.
Barney is getting married with the Season 9 Robin, the tomboyish, more extroverted Robin with short hair.

That's why the finale of the series was crap, and this fanfiction is awesome.

This is good. I agree, B/RT is the new it couple! ;) But seriously, love Ted's feelings here, the surprise that he's actually ok once the wedding is over. The tides are turning Ted. Just follow the music...

Wow! This is a really interesting take! I'm not really a huge fan of Ted's after the finale, because I don't like the way he treated Barney and Robin for so long. But this is so good (As your writings usually are). I'm curious to know how you think Ted felt about his relationship with Robin after meeting Tracy. Great work, as always! Can't wait to see what you write next!

Ted B/R is a beautiful thing. I love the contrast between what Ted originally imagined and what is actually happening. So close to what he dreamed of, but something else entirely, and the sum of it all fitting how far Ted has come, and ready for what comes next.
