I just wanted you to know that I have enjoyed your work immensely and have done so since you posted Masses to Masses 2. I really enjoyed reading and re-reading everything you posted.
Since then I moved away from home, started and graduated from university and started working.
Every now and then I would check in to see whether you updated. But eventually I forgot for years.
Until today. It has been a year since you updated, but thank you so much for everything you put out here on the internet.

It's hard to believe I've been following this story for nearly a decade now. I've changed a lot as a person in that time but this story has always remained a constant. This is probably the best fanfiction I've ever read, if not the best fiction, period. And obviously, I'm looking at it through the heavy fog that is nostalgia, but still. I've kept a tab open in Chrome for the past couple of years with Masses to Masses in it, just so I could refresh it and see if there was an update. I don't know why you haven't been posting updates and it's absolutely none of my business, I just want you to know that even if you never write another word for this story you've written something that has affected people and that you should be extremely proud of. But just in case you ever do decide to come back and write again, I'll keep a tab open for you.

Is this story dead?

I had my reservations as to how a Redux from the beginning was going to be but I like this. Chapters aren’t as drawn out so it feeds into the suspense of the story. And for first time readers it’s even more of a mystery! Glad to have you back.

Seeing Garrus and Ian react to the media outcry over C-Sec's handling of the killings really highlights a difference how Ian and Garrus associate with C-Sec compared to the first job. Originally they kinda acted like they were only associated with C-Sec but now thay are C-Sec and despite their disgruntlement with the system they're a part of C-Sec and the backlash affecting them has created solidarity between them and C-Sec that I didn't feel in the first draft.

Ian's cynicism towards Al-Jilani reminds me more of the cynic Ian will become thanks to Omega.

For the 'Krogan' my theory is that the Elcor is doing a frame job and is somehow planting Krogan DNA on his victims.

Awwww no camera shortening out? That's okay, better to be less of a problem and get the the good stuff rolling again.

Another wonderful chapter my favorite types of stories are the ones where they take something that was just an offhand remark from the game and expand upon it like what you’re doing one comment by Garris in the game and you’ve turned chapters in chapters of wonderful material into bravo sir

Hmm, seems Ian froze up during the mech drop, instead if getting lucky like the original. Interesting developments. Next up, frickin Al Jilani. Nuff said.
