you know, the thing with the name has nothing to do with making it more feminine. Chat Noir translates to Black cat in english, but in french you have to conjugate the adjective to the gender of the name it refers to. so, as a male Chat takes the male conjugation Noir, so a female Chat has to take the female conjugation Noire.
it has nothing to do with being more feminine, it's just basic french grammar.

i love this one people dont understand a cat will comfort you my mom have anxiety attacks she must be sending out some kind of aura because my dogs would never go near she scared of her my old man cat BabyBoy(we named him that because we wasnt gonna keep him but he loved us and we was worried he wouldnt like any other owner because he was abused at his last house a week after we got him the boyfriend from his old house tied a puppy to a pouch and beat it with a bat) my cat would curl up next to my moms head purring he slowly help her calm down enough to fall asleep once after she was asleep he got up got something to drink she started to wake up he rushed back over curled up and started to purr. so im so happy to see stuff like this cats can easily help people who need love they do love their owners
