Oh my goodness! I found this story again after such a long time. I read the whole thing, all 23 chapters in one go, stayed up all night and just finished. What an emotional rollercoaster. Thank you so much for writing this story, you're such a talented and creative person, you set the scene and write each of the characters so well! I love it. I remember reading this story previously when it had around 12 chapters to date, it was at a difficult time in my life when I would just immerse myself in fanfiction to take a break from reality...Its so strange reading it now, but I was hooked all the way. I know its a long shot you'll see this message, but I really hope from then bottom of my heart you'll carry on and finish this story, I am physically aching to find out what happens next! I don’t want Ace to die!

Man, you’re so good with the feels! Ace and Luffy’s fight hit me in the heart! I’m glad Luffy knows, and Ace kind of deserved to get hit in the face for it, Luffy had a lot of really good points. I couldn’t have imagined a better reveal scene for Luffy. You did an awesome job with it!

Lovely chapter. I went through so many tissues when Luffy confronted Ace. Thank you again.

The wait resumes after a nice -very fighty-angsty chapter. Honestly, I read this twice because I got interrupted the first time. Luffy's talk with Brook and Law,,, and the texts with Law after. I have to say its close to Canon Luffy, but at the end, its more loving and weak and raw and exposed and that's just wonderful!

I just- MARCO! He just lost hope, and Thatch is giving him hope, and DAMN it if there is no more hope because Ace just can't! - I'm crying for Marco right after. Somehow, I'm scared and worried for him like I were one of his brothers (im a she mind you). You just have a power to make people feel with your words. HOW do you do it?!

Seriously, my main concern is not Ace nor Luffy. It's suddenly Marco and what he will do. What he'll do when he finds out and after Ace dies, because its ovs Ace will die. It's really the emotions that you carry through that I like about this fic.

Again another chapter has me in tears I have been waiting for this confrontation for a few years and its finally here and I love how irrational each of them are and that Ace is confused and not stable so that also contributes to the argument

Wow. Is it wrong to hope that someone has secretly poisoned Ace to make him believe he's sick and drive him to suicide. I really want a happy ending for Ace and Marco. Luffy is going to explode though. Can't wait for an update.

I caught up with your story and I can’t tell how glad I am to see it still has updates ! I got so hookedup with it and yet I’m super frustrated for those two blockheads! Great job here, hope those two babies will have their happy ending !

My gosh! The conflicting emotions! How do you do it? Seriously, most writers would like, put two antonyms together and call it an emotion of conflict, but you've done it and made my gut wrench in exasperation. This is like beautiful poetry, and the whole part about giving/reminding him memories to make him forgive Marco. Genious. Its- its just so true. If I guessed, you must have experienced something like this to give you a clue about the idea of "winning someone back" by appeal of memories.

And that last part, the phone call out of no where, and Poof! Luffy knows it now. Ace is dying! HOW WILL HE EXPLAIN HIMSELF NOW?!

Gosh. Y'know. I dont really mind the long wait, I'll wait if the story is this good.

Which reminds me. knick-knacks. error there in that word. Also, lots of gramatical and spelling errors this chapt. But really good story. I'd wait for more!
