Unless she's got an absolutely AMAZING cover story for why one sister is disappearing, then Orochimaru's calling Mayuri back is kind of incredibly dumb.
I'm excited to see where you go with this, but it honestly feels a little like the story's just sliding from drama to drama, like there isn't too much meat on its bones. Compared to the beginning to middle where it felt like it was taking too long, this doesn't feel like it's in that "golden area." Understandable, with how long it's apparently been between updates; your brain moves on and it's hard to pick something right up that's been left alone for so long.

I enjoyed it overall so far! Looking forward to more. I hope you're safe and happy, wherever you are and whatever you're going through 3

I liked the chapter wlel enough - I felt some sympathy rage for Mayuri when her sister was acting so blunt to her, she really has no clue what she went through

I understand your embarrassment and lack of desire to bother someone after so long completely. I haven't played any games with this one guy I loved hanging out with for months, but now that I have the time again it's just been so long..

I'm a little more skeptical of that than meeting minor characters such as Dosu and Kimimaro, but I'm excited to see where it goes

I'm both surprised and not surprised at Mayuri's decision there; she's gone through plenty recently, I don't think she'd be all that big a fan of further fighting. Learning medical techniques will help her out a lot though, gives her an interesting edge. Kinda sad Kimimaro is out of the picture, Dosu as well. I guess I was kinda hoping they'd get to be on teams with each other eventually, but I like the direction you're taking it.
Surprised Orochimaru sent them to Konoha but I guess he really has no clue of their prior-life knowledge, eh?
It felt like a bit of an abrupt change, a very short transition to get to this point, but you've still got my interest!

I've always liked the idea of Kidomaru, and his abilities,so I'm really glad you introduced and used him like so! I'd love to see more of him in the future, though it looks like Mayuri and he are probably going to be separated for quite a long time now

I haven't received yet as I've just been spellbound by this fic, people try to do orochimaru stuff all the time, or they just want to skip straight to Canon or start changing everything immediately. This is interesting, and I'm really liking it so far

Could have been interesting, but eh pure torture porn. Tried to give this a chance, but honestly 12 chapters of the MC getting tortured to near death and back is a bit much for me.

oh no, I was waiting for that itachi reveal but the ending of this chapter completely blew that revelation out of the water with angst. love the writing as always, especially excited to see what happens now to the girls

This is a great story! I can’t wait to read more. I love Mayuris character. Honestly was a bit sad to see her not become a ninja but I get it. I can’t wait for them to all meet the canon characters.
