Okay, hello again!
I'm not quite sure were i left of last time, but i just finished reading chapter 11. I promised you fresh reviews for every new chapter and realized I haven't written anything to you since september. I had a lot on my plate, I moved to a new town, started university, had to stay at the hospital a couple of times - all in all I just had no time for nice storys. But now I'm back.
Toph is just great! So great with words without even trying, so strong and brave. I think she is the only person able to confront Ozai like this and still get her way. I#m looking forward to Zukos reaktion. He will be mad I guess but also secretly pleased and grateful for her. And to see them finally fighting together... I'm excited!

Damn, this chapter was totally awesome. Ozai's dead, that feels great to say it or write it, whatever. We didn't see his dead body though, so maybe not but for now I'm just going to gleefully assume the bastard's a goner. I loved the scene at the beginning, I think I might just re-read the whole chapter again tomorrow.

Not gonna lie, you had me sold on this story from the author's note. A dark tale unafraid to of its dark themes and cannon pairings. Too good to be true! The slavery, abuse, or violence isn't the interesting part, it's how the characters each deal with these massively unpleasant issues/events. Even better, you as a writer don't seem to shy away from how awful this gladiator situation is for them. Yet you don't feel the need to be unnecessarily graphic, which is appreciated too.

Great start. I was surprised but pleased to see Zuko portrayed as the strongest fighter instead of the underdog. Where is Azula? I'm curious how the gladiator system works in this world. If these benders are the most powerful, how are they still slaves and who has power over them? I'll keep reading to find out what happens next!
