Jisbon28 chapter 3 . 9/2/2019
A very nice follow up series with the “running away” plot.
missdonnie chapter 3 . 12/29/2016
so glad I found so many of your stories. These were written before I was a big fan of The Mentalist...and wrote stories for this site.

This one was also great...you show what a great writer you are.

Now that was so sweet thanks for the read
Entwife Incognito chapter 3 . 9/4/2016
Loved the epilogue especially. Although Lisbon will probably see Jane's fingerprints all over Christopher's plan to play on his mother's guilt lol. But it's a great substitute outing!
Entwife Incognito chapter 1 . 9/4/2016
I love this theme. Heart-wrenching but so illuminating. Thanks for sharing it.
mayzee chapter 3 . 8/6/2016
Nice conclusion and a glimpse into their future. Thank you for writing this.
Thorntons chapter 3 . 8/2/2016
What a lovely conclusion to this series, I could just see Jane dealing with his son like that.
PoistineOnly chapter 3 . 8/1/2016
Dear Author, thank you very much for this story. It's so charming, true and canonical! So many times I wiped my tears and smiled while reading it. I'm fond of stories about Jane's childhood and about his early years in CBI. Your fic is a real treasure.
Would you mind if I translate it into Russian? All the fans have to read it!
breath-of-spring chapter 3 . 8/1/2016
Great stuff, I really enjoyed these!
ReadingVoraciously chapter 3 . 7/31/2016
Insightful and gratifying reasoning of the six episodes, and the excellent epilogue was the icing on the cake showing how far Jane had evolved.
zats chapter 3 . 7/31/2016
Loved the chapter and how Patrick used his plans to sway his son to better ideas. Hope to read more soon.
Mossi.b chapter 3 . 7/31/2016
I have really enjoyed this series of tales. It all made perfect sense and expanded the series storylines perfectly. I loved the last chapters...how did I guess that those two would have a gifted child? Good to know that npt only jas Jane learned his lessons, he is able to pass them on to the next generation.
FiascoWay chapter 3 . 7/30/2016
Immensely satisfying conclusion to the series. I particularly like Jane's reflection in detention, it proved to be such a pivotal point in the direction of Season 6. I loved Jane's career musings in Silver Briefcase. Lisbon as park ranger! About the only thing you could say in it's favour is she'd look cute in the hat.

The epilogue was just perfect, brought home that Jane truly was done running and he was trying to pass on what he learned to his son.

Sorry to hear we won't be hearing from you in the next month but assume it's something good that will keep you occupied.

What a fun chapter! Here’s some particular thoughts. “Green Thumb”: Not only do you really get into Jane’s head at that point in time, your creation of Kenny, his problem, and Jane’s counsel to him was inspired. “Silver Briefcase”: I would have liked to have seen the couple try beekeeping, but I guess it was for the best they didn’t. Rancher? Ranger? Chef? All of those sound like fun career choices. “Nothing Gold Can Stay”: Another of your turns-of-phrase that I particularly enjoy – “He promptly melted to the edge of the crowd and scurried away…” - that also does a good job of conveying the turmoil raging inside Jane. “Byzantium”: I liked the way you staged Jane’s epiphany, and your bringing in the “Failure to Appear” plot device from the show made it even more fun. “Brown Shag Carpet”: I enjoyed your taking a very different tack with this segment – looking at Jane using the episode to prove his commitment to Lisbon. “White Orchids” – I liked how this short segment cemented Jane’s commitment and understanding. “Epilogue” – This was my favorite segment. Jane using all his experiences and skills to reason with his son was great.

This is more of your fine writing!
