Anime Princess chapter 1 . 1/13/2017
Wow, this is powerful. I like their POVs of each other. THeir hopes that the other is still there and yet recognizing that they are changed. I LOVE how they know each other is the home they need and will fight to keep too.

This is fantastic- you captured their thoughts beautifully, and it's very poetic to read!
SecondSolitaire chapter 1 . 11/20/2016
This was so fun to read. I'm a sucker for lots of introspection in my favorite characters, and you've portrayed both Sansa and Jon beautifully. You've really grasped the complexity of their relationship, which is sorely lacking in the show, imho. I can't wait to read more of your stuff! :)
Nana Potter chapter 1 . 8/1/2016

narnian23 chapter 1 . 7/28/2016
This is beautiful! I love how you wrote Sansa. Her reflections on never having been jealous of Arya's relationship with Jon was painful, but very appropriate. I particularly like how you portrayed her as very steady while immersed in her introspection, rather than outwardly emotional. She comes across as resigned and remorseful, but not bitter. It makes me hopeful that someday she'll be a bit more like the Sweet Sansa Jon remembers, rather than becoming colder and harsher. But as of this story she clearly hasn't changed completely, which is very good. I like how she thinks of Jon as a bastard, albeit a good rather than evil one, up until the moment they reconnect. She hasn't become capable of reasoning her way out of certain thoughts or beliefs, she still needs to feel it. And that is something you captured very well.

I also enjoyed how you so briefly touched on Robb being almost more a Tully than a Stark. Without meaning to pit Catelyn and Ned against one another, I think that can be quite important to how Sansa grows and reconciles the pride she once took in being very much her mother's daughter with her newer need to reclaim her place in the North. That one line added a lot of depth to your characterization in my opinion.

And, a big thank you for writing a familial love between Sansa and Jon, rather than a romance. I don't personally care for the notion of a romance here, so I was going to like this regardless, but I must also say that I think you've succeeded in crafting such a believable depth that I don't see how anyone who reads this could argue against them having a strictly fraternal bond.

Wow that was really good. Seriously it felt like I was reading an episode. Loved the details. IMO you got what they thought in the moment just right. Good job.

Season 6 had many memorable scenes but Jon and Sansa's reunion is my utmost favorite. I can't even tell you the number of times I have watched their scene. That hug was so awesome. I still tear up when I see it. sigh.
